Laptop turns on but the display is blank
Many times, you might experience seeing the notebook turns on by hearing the fans spin and the computer keyboard light up but you can see nothing on the screen. The reason may be a faulty display, a faulty LCD cable, a battery or a motherboard issue. Whatever the problem I usually turn around these repairs within two days.
A broken hinge is something I see far too often. You might have attempted to close the lid in haste, or you might have dropped your laptop.
A broken hinge wouldn’t allow you to open and close your notebook lid easily and you would also run the risk of further damage to internal parts by attempting to operate it. I can mend your broken hinge cost-effectively and I would make sure that my fix would last.
Laptop DC Jack replacement
Laptop DC power jacks are frequently becoming damaged primarily because they are continuously being connected to a charger. Hence in case you insert the charger forcibly or at a wrong angle it may damage the pin within the DC jack calling for a replacement.
Very often I fix laptops that have suffered from accidental liquid spillages. Most often I manage to salvage them with minimal cost so long as they’re brought in soon after the spill was made. Originally, I will disassemble the laptop, completely dry it out and clean all of the connectors and then execute a diagnosis as to learn whether the parts have suffered damage. Most of the times I manage to put the laptop back into working order with minimal price.
Laptop screens are rather delicate. When you drop the laptop or if an object collides with it, it’s very probable that your laptop screen will get damaged. Additionally it is normal for screens to suffer from digital damage and reach their end of life. I replace displays from laptops of all brands and. For a cost-effective laptop display repair, give me a call.
Laptop Hard Drive Upgrade
Whether you would like to improve the storage on your laptop, or you think your laptop is sluggish and wish to install a faster storage device that I can do this quickly and cost-effectively. I will consult you on your requirements and then suggest the perfect hard drive or SSD for your needs and install it.
Laptop is overheating
When your laptop gets too noisy or you feel that it’s overheating, that is often a sign that fans may be damaged/really dusty and the thermal compound on the CPU (mainly) is dried.
An overheating laptop may lead to damage to its internal components and generally, it shuts itself down to avoid that. If you think that your laptop shuts down randomly without warning or if you believe it gets very hot after a few minutes of usage, then it probably suffers from overheating. The reason could be excessive dust increasing the temperature inside or a faulty fan that does not cool the notebook and circulate the air as it should. Whatever the cause is I can repair your notebook in a few hours and have you up and running again.
