I am also experienced in the installation and repair of hardware to your notebook. I can troubleshoot and repair your computer’s memory (RAM), hard disk (data recovery), external hard drive, solid-state hard disk SSD, chip (CPU), motherboard, video/graphics card, power supply unit (PSU), keyboard, sound card, CD drive, DVD, mouse, modem, router, and USB devices.

Most of us are hooked on our notebooks to operate, communicate effectively, research information and entertain ourselves. They are a part of our lives. I mostly carry them with us, and I use them extensively making them susceptible to damage.

When this occurs, I am here to help out with getting you up and running quickly. When you bring your laptop in, I will perform a free of charge identification, after which I will notify you of the nature of the error, the options you have and provide a fixed quote.

If you approve my quote I shall proceed in the repair straight away and it will usually be ready within hours (subject to part availability).

I can fix laptops of all makes and models including gaming laptops. Whether you have a hardware or software fault my extensive experience will ensure I properly diagnose the issue and that I perform a fix that is cost-effective and long-lasting.

Several faults could prevent your laptop from turning on. It could be a faulty DC jack, a bad motherboard, bad RAM and others. Within 24 hours I will supply you with an accurate diagnosis so you can decide whether to proceed with the repair.

Laptop turns on but the display is blank

Many times, you might experience seeing that the laptop turns on by hearing the fans spin and the keyboard light up but you can see nothing on the monitor. The reason could be a faulty screen, a faulty LCD cable, a battery or a motherboard issue. No matter the issue I usually turn around these repairs within 48 hours.

A broken hinge is something I see far too often. You may have attempted to close the lid in haste, or you may have dropped your notebook.

A broken hinge would not let you open and close your notebook lid easily and you would also run the risk of additional damage to internal parts by trying to operate it. I can mend your broken hinge cost-effectively and I’d be certain that my fix would last.

Laptop DC Jack replacement

Laptop DC power jacks are often becoming damaged primarily because they are always being connected to a charger. Hence if you insert the charger forcibly or at a wrong angle it might damage the pin within the DC jack calling for a replacement.

Very often I repair laptops which have suffered from accidental liquid spillages. Most often I manage to salvage them with minimal cost so long as they are brought in soon after the spill was created. Originally, I will disassemble the notebook, completely dry it out and wash all the connectors and then execute a diagnosis as to learn whether the components have suffered damage. Most of the times I manage to put the laptop back into working order with minimal price.

Laptop screens are rather delicate. When you drop the notebook or if an object collides with it, it is very likely your laptop screen will become damaged. Additionally it is normal for screens to suffer from digital damage and reach their end of life. I replace screens from laptops of all brands and. For a cheap laptop display repair, give me a call.

Laptop Hard Drive Upgrade

Whether you wish to increase the storage on your notebook, or you think your laptop is sluggish and wish to install a faster storage device that I can do this fast and cost-effectively. I’ll consult you on your needs and then suggest the right hard drive or SSD for your needs and install it.

Laptop overheats

When your laptop gets too noisy or you believe that it is overheating, that’s often a sign that fans could be damaged/really dusty as well as the thermal compound on the CPU (mainly) is dried.

An overheating laptop may cause damage to its internal parts and generally, it shuts itself down to avoid that. If you feel that your laptop shuts down randomly without warning or if you feel that it becomes very hot after a couple of minutes of usage, then it probably suffers from overheating. The reason could be excessive dust raising the temperature indoors or a faulty fan that does not cool the laptop and circulate the air as it should. Whatever the cause is that I can repair your laptop in a couple of hours and have you up and running again.
