The majority of us are hooked on our laptops to operate, communicate effectively, research information and amuse ourselves. They’re a part of our lives. I mostly carry them , and I use them extensively making them susceptible to damage.

When this happens, I am here to help out with getting you up and running quickly. When you bring your laptop in, I will carry out a free of charge identification, after which I will inform you of the nature of the error, the options you have and provide a fixed quote.

I can repair laptops of all makes and models such as gaming laptops. Whether you have a hardware or software fault my extensive experience will ensure I properly diagnose the issue and that I do a repair that’s cost-effective and long-lasting.

Several faults could prevent your notebook from turning on. It may be a faulty DC jack, a bad motherboard, bad RAM and others. Within one day I will provide you with an accurate diagnosis so that you can choose whether to proceed with the repair.

Laptop turns on but the display is blank

Many times, you might experience seeing the notebook turns on by hearing the fans spin and the keyboard light up but you can see nothing on the monitor. The reason may be a faulty screen, a faulty LCD cable, a battery or a motherboard issue. No matter the problem I usually turn around these repairs within 48 hours.

A broken hinge is something I see far too often. You might have attempted to close the lid in haste, or you might have dropped your laptop.

A broken hinge would not let you open and close your notebook lid easily and you would also run the risk of further damage to internal parts by trying to operate it. I can mend your broken hinge cost-effectively and I would be certain that my fix would last.

Laptop DC Jack replacement

Laptop DC power jacks are often becoming damaged primarily since they’re continuously being connected to a charger. Hence if you insert the charger forcibly or at a wrong angle it may damage the pin within the DC jack calling for a replacement.

Very often I repair laptops which have suffered from accidental liquid spillages. Most often I manage to salvage them with minimal cost so long as they’re brought in shortly after the spill was created. Initially, I will disassemble the laptop, completely dry it out and wash all of the connectors and then perform a diagnosis as to find out whether the components have suffered damage. The majority of the times I manage to put the laptop back into working order with nominal cost.

Laptop screens are quite delicate. When you drop the notebook or if an object collides with it, it’s very probable that your laptop screen will become damaged. It is also normal for screens to suffer from digital damage and reach their end of life. I replace screens from notebooks of all brands and. To get a cheap laptop screen repair, give me a call.

Laptop Hard Drive Upgrade

Whether you wish to increase the storage on your laptop, or you think your laptop is sluggish and wish to install a faster storage device that I can do this quickly and cost-effectively. I will consult you on your needs and then suggest the right hard disk or SSD for your needs and install it.

Laptop overheats

When your laptop becomes too noisy or you feel that it’s overheating, that is often a sign that fans could be damaged/really dusty as well as the thermal compound on the CPU (mainly) is dried.

An overheating laptop may cause damage to its internal components and generally, it shuts itself down to avoid that. If you think that your laptop shuts down randomly without warning or if you feel that it gets very hot after a few minutes of usage, then it probably suffers from overheating. The cause could be excessive dust increasing the temperature indoors or a faulty fan which does not cool the notebook and circulate the air as it should. Whatever the cause is I can repair your laptop in a few hours and have you up and running again.
