The majority of us are hooked on our laptops to operate, communicate effectively, study information and entertain ourselves. They are a part of our lives. I mostly carry them with us, and I use them extensively making them prone to damage.

When this occurs, I am here to assist in getting you up and running fast. When you bring your laptop in, I will carry out a free of charge diagnosis, after which I will inform you of the nature of the fault, the options you have and provide a fixed quote.

If you approve my quote I will proceed in the repair straight away and it’ll usually be ready within hours (subject to part availability).

I can repair laptops of all makes and models such as gaming laptops. Whether you have a hardware or software fault my extensive experience will guarantee I properly diagnose the problem and that I perform a repair that is cost-effective and long-lasting.

Several faults could prevent your notebook from turning on. It could be a faulty DC jack, a bad motherboard, bad RAM and others. Within 24 hours I will provide you with an accurate diagnosis so that you can choose whether to proceed with the fix.

Laptop turns on but the screen is blank

Many times, you may experience seeing that the notebook turns on by hearing the fans spin and the keyboard light up but you can see nothing on the screen. The reason may be a faulty display, a faulty LCD cable, a battery or a motherboard issue. Whatever the problem I usually turn around these repairs within two days.

A broken hinge is something I see far too often. You might have attempted to close the lid in haste, or you may have dropped your laptop.

A broken hinge would not allow you to open and close your notebook lid easily and you would also run the risk of additional damage to internal parts by trying to operate it. I can mend your broken hinge cost-effectively and I would be certain that my fix would last.

Laptop DC Jack replacement

Laptop DC power jacks are often becoming damaged primarily since they’re always being connected to a charger. Hence if you insert the charger forcibly or at a wrong angle it may damage the pin within the DC jack calling for a replacement.

Very often I repair laptops that have suffered from accidental liquid spillages. Most often I manage to salvage them with minimal cost so long as they’re brought in shortly after the spill was made. Initially, I will disassemble the laptop, completely dry it out and clean all the connectors and then perform a diagnosis as to find out whether the parts have suffered damage. The majority of the times I manage to put the notebook back into working order with nominal price.

Laptop screens are rather delicate. When you drop the notebook or if an object collides with it, it is very probable your laptop screen will get damaged. Additionally it is normal for screens to suffer from electronic damage and reach their end of life. I replace screens from notebooks of all brands and. Laptop Hard Drive Upgrade

Whether you would like to improve the storage on your notebook, or you think your laptop is sluggish and wish to install a faster storage device I can do this fast and cost-effectively. I will consult you on your needs and then suggest the right hard disk or SSD for your needs and install it.

Laptop overheats

When your laptop becomes too noisy or you feel that it is overheating, that’s often a sign that fans could be damaged/really dusty and the thermal compound on the CPU (mainly) is dried.

An overheating laptop may lead to damage to its internal components and usually, it shuts itself down to prevent that. If you think that your laptop shuts down randomly without warning or if you believe it becomes very hot after a few minutes of usage, then it probably suffers from overheating. The reason could be excessive dust increasing the temperature indoors or a faulty fan that does not cool the laptop and circulate the air as it should. Whatever the cause is that I can repair your notebook in a few hours and have you up and running again.
