The majority of us are reliant on our laptops to work, communicate effectively, research information and entertain ourselves. They are a part of our lives. I mostly carry them with us, and I use them extensively making them prone to damage.

I can fix laptops of all makes and models including gaming laptops. Whether you’ve got a hardware or software fault my extensive experience will ensure I properly diagnose the issue and that I do a fix that is cost-effective and long-lasting.

Several faults could prevent your notebook from turning on. It may be a faulty DC jack, a bad motherboard, bad RAM and others. Within 24 hours I will supply you with an accurate diagnosis so you can decide whether to proceed with the fix.

Laptop turns on but the screen is blank

Many times, you may experience seeing the notebook turns on by hearing the fans spin and the keyboard lighting up but you can see nothing on the monitor. The reason could be a faulty screen, a faulty LCD cable, a battery or a motherboard issue. No matter the issue I usually turn around these repairs within 48 hours.

A broken hinge is something I see far too frequently. You may have tried to close the lid in haste, or you may have dropped your notebook.

A broken hinge would not allow you to open and close your laptop’s lid easily and you would also run the risk of additional damage to internal components by attempting to operate it. I can repair your broken hinge cost-effectively and I would be sure that my repair would last.

Laptop DC Jack replacement

Laptop DC power jacks are often becoming damaged primarily because they are continuously being connected to a charger. Hence if you insert the charger forcibly or at a wrong angle it may damage the pin within the DC jack calling for a replacement.

Very often I fix laptops which have suffered from accidental liquid spillages. Most often I manage to salvage them with minimal cost so long as they’re brought in shortly after the spill was created. Originally, I will disassemble the laptop, completely dry it out and wash all the connectors and then execute a diagnosis as to learn whether the parts have suffered damage. Most of the times I manage to put the notebook back into working order with nominal price.

Laptop screens are quite delicate. When you drop the notebook or if an object collides with it, it’s very likely your laptop screen will get damaged. Additionally it is common for screens to suffer with digital damage and reach their end of life. I replace screens from notebooks of all brands and. To get a cost-effective laptop display repair, give me a call.

Laptop Hard Drive Upgrade

Whether you wish to improve the storage on your laptop, or you think your laptop is sluggish and want to install a faster storage device I can do this fast and cost-effectively. I’ll consult you on your needs and then suggest the right hard drive or SSD to your needs and install it.

Laptop overheats

When your laptop becomes too noisy or you feel that it is overheating, that is often a sign that fans could be damaged/really dusty and the thermal compound on the CPU (mainly) is dried.

An overheating laptop may cause damage to its internal components and generally, it shuts itself down to prevent that. If you feel that your laptop shuts down randomly without warning or if you feel that it becomes very hot after a few minutes of use, then it probably suffers from overheating. The reason could be excessive dust increasing the temperature inside or a faulty fan which does not cool the laptop and circulate the air as it should. Whatever the cause is that I can repair your notebook in a few hours and have you up and running again.
