I can repair laptops of all makes and models including gaming laptops. Whether you’ve got a hardware or software fault my extensive experience will ensure I correctly diagnose the problem and that I perform a fix that is cost-effective and long-lasting.

Several faults could prevent your notebook from turning on. It could be a faulty DC jack, a bad motherboard, bad RAM and others. Within one day I will provide you with an accurate diagnosis so you can choose whether to proceed with the repair.

Laptop turns on but the display is blank

Many times, you might experience seeing the laptop turns on by hearing the fans spin and the computer keyboard light up but you can see nothing on the monitor. The reason could be a faulty screen, a faulty LCD cable, a battery or a motherboard issue. No matter the problem I usually turn around these repairs within 48 hours.

A broken hinge is something I see far too often. You might have attempted to close the lid in haste, or you may have dropped your laptop.

A broken hinge would not let you open and close your laptop’s lid easily and you would also run the risk of further damage to internal parts by attempting to operate it. I can mend your broken hinge cost-effectively and I’d make certain my fix would last.

Laptop DC Jack replacement

Laptop DC power jacks are often becoming damaged primarily because they are always being connected to a charger. Hence if you insert the charger forcibly or at a wrong angle it might damage the pin inside the DC jack calling for a replacement.

Very often I fix laptops that have suffered from accidental liquid spillages. Most often I manage to salvage them with minimal cost so long as they’re brought in shortly after the spill was created. Initially, I will disassemble the laptop, completely dry it out and clean all the connectors and then execute a diagnosis as to find out whether the parts have suffered damage. The majority of the times I manage to put the notebook back into working order with minimal price.

Laptop screens are quite delicate. When you drop the notebook or if an object collides with it, it’s very likely that your laptop screen will become damaged. Additionally it is common for screens to suffer with electronic damage and reach their end of life. I replace displays from notebooks of all brands and. For a cheap laptop screen repair, give me a call.

Laptop Hard Drive Upgrade

Whether you wish to increase the storage on your laptop, or you think your laptop is sluggish and wish to install a faster storage device I can do this fast and cost-effectively. I will consult you on your requirements and then suggest the perfect hard drive or SSD to your needs and install it.

Laptop overheats

When your laptop becomes too noisy or you feel that it’s overheating, that is often a sign that fans could be damaged/really dusty and the thermal compound on the CPU (mainly) is dried.

An overheating laptop may lead to damage to its internal parts and generally, it shuts itself down to avoid that. If you feel that your laptop shuts down randomly without warning or if you believe it becomes very hot after a couple of minutes of use, then it probably suffers from overheating. The cause could be excessive dust raising the temperature indoors or a faulty fan which does not cool the notebook and circulate the air as it should. Whatever the cause is that I can repair your notebook in a few hours and have you up and running again.
