I am also experienced in the installation and repair of hardware to your notebook. Most of us are reliant on our notebooks to operate, communicate effectively, research information and amuse ourselves. They are a part of our lives. I mostly carry them , and I use them extensively making them prone to damage.

I can fix laptops of all makes and models such as gaming laptops. Whether you have a hardware or software fault my extensive experience will guarantee I properly diagnose the issue and that I do a repair that is cost-effective and long-lasting.

Several faults could prevent your notebook from turning on. It could be a faulty DC jack, a bad motherboard, bad RAM and others. Within one day I will provide you with an accurate diagnosis so you can choose whether to proceed with the fix.

Laptop turns on but the display is blank

Many times, you may experience seeing the notebook turns on by hearing the fans spin and the keyboard light up but you can see nothing on the monitor. The reason could be a faulty display, a faulty LCD cable, a battery or a motherboard issue. Whatever the issue I usually turn around these repairs within two days.

A broken hinge is something I see far too frequently. You may have attempted to close the lid in haste, or you may have dropped your notebook.

A broken hinge would not let you open and close your laptop’s lid easily and you would also run the risk of further damage to internal parts by trying to operate it. I can mend your broken hinge cost-effectively and I would make certain that my repair would last.

Laptop DC Jack replacement

Laptop DC power jacks are frequently becoming damaged primarily since they’re continuously being connected to a charger. Hence in case you insert the charger forcibly or at a wrong angle it may damage the pin inside the DC jack calling for a replacement.

Very often I fix laptops which have suffered from accidental liquid spillages. Most often I manage to salvage them with minimal cost so long as they’re brought in shortly after the spill was made. Originally, I will disassemble the laptop, completely dry it out and wash all of the connectors and then execute a diagnosis as to find out whether the parts have suffered damage. The majority of the times I manage to put the laptop back into working order with nominal price.

Laptop screens are quite delicate. When you drop the laptop or if an object collides with it, it is very likely your laptop screen will become damaged. Additionally it is normal for screens to suffer from electronic damage and reach their end of life. I replace displays from notebooks of all brands and. To get a cost-effective laptop screen repair, give me a call.

Laptop Hard Drive Upgrade

Whether you would like to improve the storage on your laptop, or you think your laptop is sluggish and want to install a faster storage device I can do this fast and cost-effectively. I’ll consult you on your needs and then suggest the perfect hard drive or SSD for your needs and install it.

Laptop overheats

When your laptop becomes too noisy or you feel that it is overheating, that’s often a sign that fans may be damaged/really dusty as well as the thermal compound on the CPU (mainly) is dried.

An overheating laptop may lead to damage to its internal parts and usually, it shuts itself down to avoid that. If you feel that your laptop shuts down randomly without warning or if you feel that it gets very hot after a couple of minutes of usage, then it probably suffers from overheating. The cause could be excessive dust raising the temperature inside or a faulty fan which does not cool the notebook and circulate the air as it should. Whatever the cause is that I can repair your laptop in a couple of hours and have you up and running again.
