I am also experienced in the installation and repair of hardware to your notebook. The majority of us are hooked on our notebooks to operate, communicate effectively, research information and amuse ourselves. They’re a part of our lives. I mostly carry them with us, and I use them extensively making them prone to damage.

When this occurs, I am here to help out with getting you up and running fast. When you bring your laptop in, I will carry out a free of charge diagnosis, after which I will notify you of the nature of the error, the options you have and provide a fixed quote.

If you approve my quote I shall move in the repair straight away and it will usually be ready within hours (subject to part availability).

I can repair laptops of all makes and models including gaming laptops. Whether you have a hardware or software fault my extensive experience will ensure I correctly diagnose the problem and that I perform a repair that’s cost-effective and long-lasting.

Several faults could prevent your notebook from turning on. It may be a faulty DC jack, a bad motherboard, bad RAM and others. Within 24 hours I will provide you with an accurate diagnosis so you can decide whether to proceed with the fix.

Laptop turns on but the screen is blank

Many times, you might experience seeing the notebook turns on by hearing the fans spin and the keyboard light up but you can see nothing on the monitor. The cause may be a faulty display, a faulty LCD cable, a battery or a motherboard issue. No matter the issue I usually turn around these repairs within 48 hours.

A broken hinge is something I see far too frequently. You might have tried to close the lid in haste, or you may have dropped your notebook.

A broken hinge would not allow you to open and close your laptop’s lid easily and you would also run the risk of additional damage to internal parts by trying to operate it. I can repair your broken hinge cost-effectively and I would make sure my fix would last.

Laptop DC Jack replacement

Laptop DC power jacks are frequently becoming damaged primarily because they are continuously being connected to a charger. Hence if you insert the charger forcibly or at a wrong angle it might damage the pin within the DC jack calling for a replacement.

Very often I fix laptops that have suffered from accidental liquid spillages. Most often I manage to salvage them with minimal cost as long as they are brought in soon after the spill was made. Initially, I will disassemble the notebook, completely dry it out and clean all the connectors and then execute a diagnosis as to learn whether the components have suffered damage. The majority of the times I manage to put the laptop back into working order with minimal cost.

Laptop screens are rather delicate. When you drop the notebook or if an object collides with it, it’s very likely your laptop screen will become damaged. It is also normal for screens to suffer from electronic damage and reach their end of life. I replace displays from notebooks of all brands and. For a cost-effective laptop display repair, give me a call.

Laptop Hard Drive Upgrade

Whether you wish to increase the storage on your laptop, or you think your laptop is sluggish and want to install a faster storage device I can do this fast and cost-effectively. I will consult you on your requirements and then suggest the perfect hard drive or SSD for your needs and install it.

Laptop is overheating

When your laptop becomes too noisy or you feel that it is overheating, that is often a sign that fans could be damaged/really dusty and the thermal compound on the CPU (mainly) is dried.

An overheating laptop may cause damage to its internal components and usually, it shuts itself down to avoid that. If you think that your laptop shuts down randomly without warning or if you believe it gets very hot after a few minutes of use, then it probably suffers from overheating. The cause could be excessive dust raising the temperature inside or a faulty fan that does not cool the laptop and circulate the air as it should. Whatever the cause is that I can repair your laptop in a few hours and have you up and running again.
