I’m also experienced in the installation and repair of hardware for your notebook. I can troubleshoot and repair your computer’s memory (RAM), hard disk (data retrieval ), external hard drive, solid-state hard disk SSD, processor (CPU), motherboard, video/graphics card, power supply unit (PSU), keyboard, sound card, CD drive, DVD, mouse, modem, router, and USB devices.

The majority of us are reliant on our notebooks to operate, communicate effectively, research information and entertain ourselves. They’re a part of our lives. I mostly carry them with us, and I use them extensively making them susceptible to damage.

When this occurs, I am here to help out with getting you up and running quickly. When you bring your laptop in, I will perform a free of charge diagnosis, and I will notify you of the nature of the error, the choices you have and provide a fixed quote.

Should you approve my quote I will proceed in the repair straight away and it will usually be ready within hours (subject to part availability).

I can repair laptops of all makes and models including gaming laptops. Whether you’ve got a hardware or software fault my extensive experience will ensure I properly diagnose the problem and that I perform a fix that is cost-effective and long-lasting.

Several faults could prevent your notebook from turning on. It may be a faulty DC jack, a bad motherboard, bad RAM and others. Within 24 hours I will supply you with an accurate diagnosis so you can decide whether to proceed with the repair.

Laptop turns on but the screen is blank

Many times, you might experience seeing that the laptop turns on by hearing the fans spin and the keyboard light up but you can see nothing on the screen. The cause may be a faulty display, a faulty LCD cable, a battery or a motherboard issue. Whatever the problem I usually turn around these repairs within two days.

A broken hinge is something I see far too frequently. You may have attempted to close the lid in haste, or you might have dropped your laptop.

A broken hinge wouldn’t allow you to open and close your notebook lid easily and you would also run the risk of further damage to internal parts by attempting to operate it. I can repair your broken hinge cost-effectively and I’d make sure that my repair would last.

Laptop DC Jack replacement

Laptop DC power jacks are often becoming damaged primarily because they are always being connected to a charger. Hence if you insert the charger forcibly or at a wrong angle it may damage the pin inside the DC jack calling for a replacement.

Very often I repair laptops that have suffered from accidental liquid spillages. Most often I manage to salvage them with minimal cost as long as they’re brought in shortly after the spill was created. Originally, I will disassemble the laptop, completely dry it out and wash all of the connectors and then execute a diagnosis as to find out whether the parts have suffered damage. Most of the times I manage to put the laptop back into working order with nominal cost.

Laptop screens are rather delicate. When you drop the laptop or if an object collides with it, it’s very probable that your laptop screen will become damaged. It is also common for screens to suffer with electronic damage and reach their end of life. I replace screens from laptops of all brands and. To get a cheap laptop screen repair, give me a call.

Laptop Hard Drive Upgrade

Whether you would like to improve the storage on your laptop, or you think your laptop is sluggish and wish to install a faster storage device I can do this quickly and cost-effectively. I will consult you on your requirements and then suggest the right hard drive or SSD for your needs and install it.

Laptop overheats

When your laptop gets too noisy or you feel that it is overheating, that is often a sign that fans may be damaged/really dusty as well as the thermal compound on the CPU (mainly) is dried.

An overheating laptop may cause damage to its internal parts and usually, it shuts itself down to prevent that. If you think that your laptop shuts down randomly without warning or if you feel that it becomes very hot after a couple of minutes of use, then it probably suffers from overheating. The reason could be excessive dust raising the temperature indoors or a faulty fan which does not cool the notebook and circulate the air as it should. Whatever the cause is I can repair your notebook in a few hours and have you up and running again.
