Laptop turns on but the display is blank

Many times, you might experience seeing the notebook turns on by hearing the fans spin and the computer keyboard lighting up but you can see nothing on the monitor. The reason may be a faulty display, a faulty LCD cable, a battery or a motherboard issue. Whatever the issue I usually turn around these repairs within 48 hours.

A broken hinge is something I see far too frequently. You may have tried to close the lid in haste, or you might have dropped your notebook.

A broken hinge would not let you open and close your notebook lid easily and you would also run the risk of further damage to internal components by attempting to operate it. I can mend your broken hinge cost-effectively and I’d make sure that my repair would last.

Laptop DC Jack replacement

Laptop DC power jacks are frequently becoming damaged primarily since they’re always being connected to a charger. Hence in case you insert the charger forcibly or at a wrong angle it may damage the pin inside the DC jack calling for a replacement.

Very often I fix laptops which have suffered from accidental liquid spillages. Most often I manage to salvage them with minimal cost as long as they’re brought in soon after the spill was created. Originally, I will disassemble the laptop, completely dry it out and clean all of the connectors and then execute a diagnosis as to learn whether the parts have suffered damage. The majority of the times I manage to put the notebook back into working order with nominal cost.

Laptop screens are rather delicate. When you drop the laptop or if an object collides with it, it is very likely your laptop screen will get damaged. Additionally it is common for screens to suffer with electronic damage and reach their end of life. I replace screens from notebooks of all brands and. To get a cost-effective laptop screen repair, give me a call.

Laptop Hard Drive Upgrade

Whether you wish to improve the storage on your laptop, or you think your laptop is sluggish and wish to install a faster storage device that I can do this fast and cost-effectively. I will consult you on your requirements and then suggest the right hard drive or SSD to your needs and install it.

Laptop is overheating

When your laptop becomes too noisy or you believe that it is overheating, that’s often a sign that fans may be damaged/really dusty and the thermal compound on the CPU (mainly) is dried.

An overheating laptop may lead to damage to its internal parts and usually, it shuts itself down to prevent that. If you feel that your laptop shuts down randomly without warning or if you believe it becomes very hot after a couple of minutes of use, then it probably suffers from overheating. The reason could be excessive dust increasing the temperature inside or a faulty fan that does not cool the laptop and circulate the air as it should. Whatever the cause is that I can repair your laptop in a couple of hours and have you up and running again.
