The majority of us are hooked on our laptops to operate, communicate effectively, study information and entertain ourselves. They’re a part of our lives. I mostly carry them , and I use them extensively making them susceptible to damage.

I can fix laptops of all makes and models such as gaming laptops. Whether you have a hardware or software fault my extensive experience will guarantee I correctly diagnose the problem and that I do a repair that’s cost-effective and long-lasting.

Several faults could prevent your notebook from turning on. It may be a faulty DC jack, a bad motherboard, bad RAM and others. Within one day I will provide you with an accurate diagnosis so you can choose whether to proceed with the repair.

Laptop turns on but the display is blank

Many times, you may experience seeing the laptop turns on by hearing the fans spin and the keyboard light up but you can see nothing on the monitor. The cause may be a faulty display, a faulty LCD cable, a battery or a motherboard issue. Whatever the issue I usually turn around these repairs within 48 hours.

A broken hinge is something I see far too frequently. You may have tried to close the lid in haste, or you may have dropped your laptop.

A broken hinge would not allow you to open and close your laptop’s lid easily and you would also run the risk of further damage to internal parts by attempting to operate it. I can repair your broken hinge cost-effectively and I’d make sure my fix would last.

Laptop DC Jack replacement

Laptop DC power jacks are frequently becoming damaged primarily because they are always being connected to a charger. Hence if you insert the charger forcibly or at a wrong angle it may damage the pin inside the DC jack calling for a replacement.

Very often I fix laptops which have suffered from accidental liquid spillages. Most often I manage to salvage them with minimal cost as long as they are brought in shortly after the spill was made. Originally, I will disassemble the notebook, completely dry it out and wash all the connectors and then execute a diagnosis as to learn whether the components have suffered damage. Most of the times I manage to put the notebook back into working order with nominal cost.

Laptop screens are rather delicate. When you drop the notebook or if an object collides with it, it is very likely your laptop screen will get damaged. It is also normal for screens to suffer with electronic damage and reach their end of life. I replace displays from notebooks of all brands and. To get a cost-effective laptop screen repair, give me a call.

Laptop Hard Drive Upgrade

Whether you would like to improve the storage on your notebook, or you think your laptop is sluggish and want to install a faster storage device that I can do this fast and cost-effectively. I’ll consult you on your requirements and then suggest the perfect hard disk or SSD for your needs and install it.

Laptop overheats

When your laptop becomes too noisy or you feel that it is overheating, that’s often a sign that fans may be damaged/really dusty and the thermal compound on the CPU (mainly) is dried.

An overheating laptop may cause damage to its internal components and usually, it shuts itself down to avoid that. If you feel that your laptop shuts down randomly without warning or if you believe it becomes very hot after a couple of minutes of usage, then it probably suffers from overheating. The cause could be excessive dust increasing the temperature inside or a faulty fan that does not cool the laptop and circulate the air as it should. Whatever the cause is I can repair your notebook in a couple of hours and have you up and running again.
