The majority of us are reliant on our laptops to operate, communicate effectively, research information and entertain ourselves. They are a part of our lives. I mostly carry them with us, and I use them extensively making them prone to damage.

When this happens, I am here to assist in getting you up and running fast. When you bring your laptop in, I will perform a free of charge diagnosis, and I will inform you of the nature of the error, the choices you have and provide a fixed quote.

Should you approve my quote I will move in the repair straight away and it will usually be ready within hours (subject to part availability).

I can fix laptops of all makes and models including gaming laptops. Whether you have a hardware or software fault my extensive experience will guarantee I properly diagnose the problem and that I perform a repair that is cost-effective and long-lasting.

Several faults could prevent your notebook from turning on. It could be a faulty DC jack, a bad motherboard, bad RAM and others. Within one day I will provide you with an accurate diagnosis so that you can choose whether to proceed with the fix.

Laptop turns on but the display is blank

Many times, you may experience seeing the notebook turns on by hearing the fans spin and the keyboard light up but you can see nothing on the screen. The reason may be a faulty screen, a faulty LCD cable, a battery or a motherboard issue. Whatever the issue I usually turn around these repairs within 48 hours.

A broken hinge is something I see far too often. You might have tried to close the lid in haste, or you might have dropped your laptop.

A broken hinge wouldn’t let you open and close your notebook lid easily and you would also run the risk of further damage to internal components by attempting to operate it. I can mend your broken hinge cost-effectively and I’d be sure my fix would last.

Laptop DC Jack replacement

Laptop DC power jacks are often becoming damaged primarily because they are continuously being connected to a charger. Hence in case you insert the charger forcibly or at a wrong angle it may damage the pin within the DC jack calling for a replacement.

Very often I fix laptops which have suffered from accidental liquid spillages. Most often I manage to salvage them with minimal cost as long as they’re brought in shortly after the spill was made. Initially, I will disassemble the notebook, completely dry it out and clean all of the connectors and then perform a diagnosis as to find out whether the parts have suffered damage. Most of the times I manage to put the laptop back into working order with minimal cost.

Laptop screens are rather delicate. When you drop the notebook or if an object collides with it, it is very likely that your laptop screen will become damaged. It is also normal for screens to suffer from electronic damage and reach their end of life. I replace screens from laptops of all brands and. To get a cost-effective laptop screen repair, give me a call.

Laptop Hard Drive Upgrade

Whether you wish to increase the storage on your notebook, or you think your laptop is sluggish and wish to install a faster storage device that I can do this quickly and cost-effectively. I will consult you on your requirements and then suggest the perfect hard disk or SSD to your needs and install it.

Laptop is overheating

When your laptop becomes too noisy or you believe that it is overheating, that’s often a sign that fans could be damaged/really dusty as well as the thermal compound on the CPU (mainly) is dried.

An overheating laptop may cause damage to its internal components and generally, it shuts itself down to avoid that. If you think that your laptop shuts down randomly without warning or if you believe it gets very hot after a couple of minutes of use, then it probably suffers from overheating. The reason could be excessive dust increasing the temperature inside or a faulty fan which does not cool the laptop and circulate the air as it should. Whatever the cause is that I can repair your notebook in a few hours and have you up and running again.
