Laptop turns on but the screen is blank

Many times, you might experience seeing that the laptop turns on by hearing the fans spin and the keyboard lighting up but you can see nothing on the screen. The reason could be a faulty display, a faulty LCD cable, a battery or a motherboard issue. No matter the issue I usually turn around these repairs within 48 hours.

A broken hinge is something I see far too frequently. You may have attempted to close the lid in haste, or you may have dropped your notebook.

A broken hinge wouldn’t allow you to open and close your notebook lid easily and you would also run the risk of further damage to internal parts by trying to operate it. I can mend your broken hinge cost-effectively and I would make sure my repair would last.

Laptop DC Jack replacement

Laptop DC power jacks are often becoming damaged primarily since they’re continuously being connected to a charger. Hence if you insert the charger forcibly or at a wrong angle it might damage the pin within the DC jack calling for a replacement.

Very often I repair laptops that have suffered from accidental liquid spillages. Most often I manage to salvage them with minimal cost so long as they’re brought in soon after the spill was made. Initially, I will disassemble the laptop, completely dry it out and wash all of the connectors and then execute a diagnosis as to learn whether the components have suffered damage. The majority of the times I manage to put the notebook back into working order with minimal cost.

Laptop screens are rather delicate. When you drop the notebook or if an object collides with it, it’s very likely that your laptop screen will become damaged. It is also common for screens to suffer from electronic damage and reach their end of life. I replace displays from laptops of all brands and. For a cost-effective laptop screen repair, give me a call.

Laptop Hard Drive Upgrade

Whether you wish to improve the storage on your laptop, or you think your laptop is sluggish and wish to install a faster storage device that I can do this quickly and cost-effectively. I’ll consult you on your requirements and then suggest the perfect hard drive or SSD for your needs and install it.

Laptop overheats

When your laptop gets too noisy or you feel that it is overheating, that is often a sign that fans could be damaged/really dusty as well as the thermal compound on the CPU (mainly) is dried.

An overheating laptop may cause damage to its internal parts and usually, it shuts itself down to avoid that. If you feel that your laptop shuts down randomly without warning or if you feel that it becomes very hot after a few minutes of usage, then it probably suffers from overheating. The reason could be excessive dust increasing the temperature indoors or a faulty fan which does not cool the notebook and circulate the air as it should. Whatever the cause is that I can repair your notebook in a few hours and have you up and running again.
