Most of us are hooked on our laptops to operate, communicate effectively, research information and amuse ourselves. They are a part of our lives. I mostly carry them , and I use them extensively making them prone to damage.
When this happens, I am here to assist in getting you up and running quickly. When you bring your laptop in, I will perform a free of charge diagnosis, and I will inform you of the nature of the error, the choices you have and provide a fixed quote.
If you approve my quote I will proceed in the repair straight away and it will usually be ready within hours (subject to part availability).
I can fix laptops of all makes and models such as gaming laptops. Whether you have a hardware or software fault my extensive experience will guarantee I properly diagnose the issue and that I perform a fix that is cost-effective and long-lasting.
Several faults could prevent your notebook from turning on. It may be a faulty DC jack, a bad motherboard, bad RAM and others. Within one day I will supply you with an accurate diagnosis so that you can choose whether to proceed with the fix.
Laptop turns on but the screen is blank
Many times, you might experience seeing the notebook turns on by hearing the fans spin and the keyboard lighting up but you can see nothing on the screen. The reason could be a faulty screen, a faulty LCD cable, a battery or a motherboard issue. No matter the issue I usually turn around these repairs within two days.
A broken hinge is something I see far too often. You may have tried to close the lid in haste, or you might have dropped your notebook.
A broken hinge would not let you open and close your laptop’s lid easily and you would also run the risk of further damage to internal parts by attempting to operate it. I can mend your broken hinge cost-effectively and I’d make sure that my fix would last.
Laptop DC Jack replacement
Laptop DC power jacks are often becoming damaged primarily since they’re continuously being connected to a charger. Hence in case you insert the charger forcibly or at a wrong angle it might damage the pin within the DC jack calling for a replacement.
Very often I repair laptops that have suffered from accidental liquid spillages. Most often I manage to salvage them with minimal cost so long as they’re brought in shortly after the spill was made. Originally, I will disassemble the laptop, completely dry it out and wash all of the connectors and then perform a diagnosis as to find out whether the components have suffered damage. Most of the times I manage to put the laptop back into working order with minimal price.
Laptop screens are rather delicate. When you drop the notebook or if an object collides with it, it’s very likely your laptop screen will get damaged. It is also common for screens to suffer with electronic damage and reach their end of life. I replace screens from notebooks of all brands and. For a cheap laptop screen repair, give me a call.
Laptop Hard Drive Upgrade
Whether you wish to improve the storage on your laptop, or you think your laptop is sluggish and want to install a faster storage device I can do this fast and cost-effectively. I will consult you on your needs and then suggest the perfect hard drive or SSD for your needs and install it.
Laptop is overheating
When your laptop gets too noisy or you feel that it is overheating, that is often a sign that fans could be damaged/really dusty and the thermal compound on the CPU (mainly) is dried.
An overheating laptop may lead to damage to its internal components and usually, it shuts itself down to prevent that. If you think that your laptop shuts down randomly without warning or if you feel that it gets very hot after a couple of minutes of use, then it probably suffers from overheating. The cause could be excessive dust raising the temperature indoors or a faulty fan that does not cool the notebook and circulate the air as it should. Whatever the cause is I can repair your notebook in a few hours and have you up and running again.
