Most of us are reliant on our laptops to work, communicate effectively, research information and amuse ourselves. They’re a part of our lives. I mostly carry them with us, and I use them extensively making them susceptible to damage.
When this happens, I am here to assist in getting you up and running quickly. When you bring your laptop in, I will perform a free of charge diagnosis, and I will inform you of the nature of the error, the options you have and provide a fixed quote.
If you approve my quote I will proceed in the repair straight away and it will usually be ready within hours (subject to part availability).
I can fix laptops of all makes and models including gaming laptops. Whether you have a hardware or software fault my extensive experience will guarantee I properly diagnose the issue and that I do a repair that is cost-effective and long-lasting.
Several faults could prevent your laptop from turning on. It may be a faulty DC jack, a bad motherboard, bad RAM and others. Within one day I will supply you with an accurate diagnosis so that you can decide whether to proceed with the repair.
Laptop turns on but the screen is blank
Many times, you may experience seeing the laptop turns on by hearing the fans spin and the keyboard lighting up but you can see nothing on the monitor. The cause may be a faulty screen, a faulty LCD cable, a battery or a motherboard issue. Whatever the issue I usually turn around these repairs within 48 hours.
A broken hinge is something I see far too frequently. You might have attempted to close the lid in haste, or you may have dropped your notebook.
A broken hinge would not allow you to open and close your laptop’s lid easily and you would also run the risk of additional damage to internal parts by trying to operate it. I can repair your broken hinge cost-effectively and I would make sure my repair would last.
Laptop DC Jack replacement
Laptop DC power jacks are frequently becoming damaged primarily since they’re continuously being connected to a charger. Hence if you insert the charger forcibly or at a wrong angle it might damage the pin within the DC jack calling for a replacement.
Very often I repair laptops which have suffered from accidental liquid spillages. Most often I manage to salvage them with minimal cost as long as they are brought in soon after the spill was made. Initially, I will disassemble the notebook, completely dry it out and wash all of the connectors and then execute a diagnosis as to learn whether the parts have suffered damage. Most of the times I manage to put the laptop back into working order with minimal cost.
Laptop screens are quite delicate. When you drop the laptop or if an object collides with it, it’s very probable that your laptop screen will get damaged. Additionally it is normal for screens to suffer from electronic damage and reach their end of life. I replace screens from notebooks of all brands and. For a cheap laptop display repair, give me a call.
Laptop Hard Drive Upgrade
Whether you wish to increase the storage on your laptop, or you think your laptop is sluggish and wish to install a faster storage device I can do this fast and cost-effectively. I will consult you on your requirements and then suggest the perfect hard drive or SSD to your needs and install it.
Laptop is overheating
When your laptop gets too noisy or you feel that it’s overheating, that’s often a sign that fans could be damaged/really dusty as well as the thermal compound on the CPU (mainly) is dried.
An overheating laptop may lead to damage to its internal parts and generally, it shuts itself down to prevent that. If you think that your laptop shuts down randomly without warning or if you believe it gets very hot after a few minutes of usage, then it probably suffers from overheating. The cause could be excessive dust increasing the temperature inside or a faulty fan that does not cool the laptop and circulate the air as it should. Whatever the cause is I can repair your laptop in a few hours and have you up and running again.
