I’m also experienced in the installation and repair of hardware for your notebook. Most of us are reliant on our laptops to operate, communicate effectively, study information and amuse ourselves. They’re a part of our lives. I mostly carry them , and I use them extensively making them susceptible to damage.

When this happens, I am here to assist in getting you up and running fast. When you bring your laptop in, I will perform a free of charge diagnosis, after which I will notify you of the nature of the error, the options you have and provide a fixed quote.

If you approve my quote I will move in the repair straight away and it will usually be ready within hours (subject to part availability).

I can repair laptops of all makes and models such as gaming laptops. Whether you have a hardware or software fault my extensive experience will ensure I correctly diagnose the issue and that I do a fix that is cost-effective and long-lasting.

Several faults could prevent your notebook from turning on. It may be a faulty DC jack, a bad motherboard, bad RAM and others. Within 24 hours I will supply you with an accurate diagnosis so you can decide whether to proceed with the fix.

Laptop turns on but the display is blank

Many times, you might experience seeing that the laptop turns on by hearing the fans spin and the keyboard lighting up but you can see nothing on the monitor. The cause may be a faulty screen, a faulty LCD cable, a battery or a motherboard issue. Whatever the problem I usually turn around these repairs within two days.

A broken hinge is something I see far too often. You may have attempted to close the lid in haste, or you may have dropped your laptop.

A broken hinge would not let you open and close your notebook lid easily and you would also run the risk of additional damage to internal parts by attempting to operate it. I can mend your broken hinge cost-effectively and I would be sure that my fix would last.

Laptop DC Jack replacement

Laptop DC power jacks are frequently becoming damaged primarily since they’re continuously being connected to a charger. Hence in case you insert the charger forcibly or at a wrong angle it might damage the pin inside the DC jack calling for a replacement.

Very often I repair laptops that have suffered from accidental liquid spillages. Most often I manage to salvage them with minimal cost so long as they are brought in shortly after the spill was created. Originally, I will disassemble the notebook, completely dry it out and clean all the connectors and then perform a diagnosis as to find out whether the parts have suffered damage. Most of the times I manage to put the laptop back into working order with nominal price.

Laptop screens are rather delicate. When you drop the notebook or if an object collides with it, it is very likely your laptop screen will get damaged. Additionally it is common for screens to suffer with electronic damage and reach their end of life. I replace displays from laptops of all brands and. For a cost-effective laptop screen repair, give me a call.

Laptop Hard Drive Upgrade

Whether you would like to improve the storage on your notebook, or you think your laptop is sluggish and want to install a faster storage device I can do this fast and cost-effectively. I’ll consult you on your needs and then suggest the perfect hard drive or SSD for your needs and install it.

Laptop is overheating

When your laptop becomes too noisy or you feel that it is overheating, that’s often a sign that fans could be damaged/really dusty and the thermal compound on the CPU (mainly) is dried.

An overheating laptop may lead to damage to its internal components and generally, it shuts itself down to prevent that. If you feel that your laptop shuts down randomly without warning or if you feel that it gets very hot after a few minutes of usage, then it probably suffers from overheating. The reason could be excessive dust increasing the temperature indoors or a faulty fan which does not cool the notebook and circulate the air as it should. Whatever the cause is I can repair your laptop in a few hours and have you up and running again.
