Most of us are hooked on our laptops to operate, communicate effectively, research information and amuse ourselves. They are a part of our lives. I mostly carry them with us, and I use them extensively making them prone to damage.

When this happens, I am here to assist in getting you up and running quickly. When you bring your laptop in, I will perform a free of charge diagnosis, and I will inform you of the nature of the error, the choices you have and provide a fixed quote.

If you approve my quote I will move in the repair straight away and it’ll usually be ready within hours (subject to part availability).

I can repair laptops of all makes and models such as gaming laptops. Whether you’ve got a hardware or software fault my extensive experience will guarantee I properly diagnose the issue and that I do a fix that’s cost-effective and long-lasting.

Several faults could prevent your notebook from turning on. It could be a faulty DC jack, a bad motherboard, bad RAM and others. Within 24 hours I will provide you with an accurate diagnosis so you can decide whether to proceed with the repair.

Laptop turns on but the display is blank

Many times, you may experience seeing that the notebook turns on by hearing the fans spin and the keyboard light up but you can see nothing on the monitor. The reason may be a faulty screen, a faulty LCD cable, a battery or a motherboard issue. Whatever the issue I usually turn around these repairs within two days.

A broken hinge is something I see far too frequently. You might have attempted to close the lid in haste, or you might have dropped your laptop.

A broken hinge would not let you open and close your laptop’s lid easily and you would also run the risk of further damage to internal components by attempting to operate it. I can repair your broken hinge cost-effectively and I would make sure my fix would last.

Laptop DC Jack replacement

Laptop DC power jacks are frequently becoming damaged primarily since they’re always being connected to a charger. Hence if you insert the charger forcibly or at a wrong angle it may damage the pin inside the DC jack calling for a replacement.

Very often I repair laptops which have suffered from accidental liquid spillages. Most often I manage to salvage them with minimal cost so long as they’re brought in soon after the spill was created. Originally, I will disassemble the notebook, completely dry it out and wash all the connectors and then execute a diagnosis as to learn whether the parts have suffered damage. Most of the times I manage to put the notebook back into working order with minimal price.

Laptop screens are rather delicate. When you drop the laptop or if an object collides with it, it is very likely that your laptop screen will get damaged. It is also common for screens to suffer from digital damage and reach their end of life. I replace screens from laptops of all brands and. To get a cheap laptop screen repair, give me a call.

Laptop Hard Drive Upgrade

Whether you wish to improve the storage on your notebook, or you think your laptop is sluggish and want to install a faster storage device I can do this quickly and cost-effectively. I’ll consult you on your needs and then suggest the perfect hard drive or SSD for your needs and install it.

Laptop is overheating

When your laptop becomes too noisy or you believe that it is overheating, that is often a sign that fans may be damaged/really dusty and the thermal compound on the CPU (mainly) is dried.

An overheating laptop may lead to damage to its internal parts and usually, it shuts itself down to prevent that. If you feel that your laptop shuts down randomly without warning or if you believe it gets very hot after a couple of minutes of use, then it probably suffers from overheating. The reason could be excessive dust increasing the temperature indoors or a faulty fan which does not cool the notebook and circulate the air as it should. Whatever the cause is I can repair your laptop in a couple of hours and have you up and running again.
