The majority of us are reliant on our laptops to operate, communicate effectively, study information and amuse ourselves. They’re a part of our lives. I mostly carry them with us, and I use them extensively making them prone to damage.

I can repair laptops of all makes and models such as gaming laptops. Whether you have a hardware or software fault my extensive experience will ensure I correctly diagnose the issue and that I do a repair that’s cost-effective and long-lasting.

Several faults could prevent your notebook from turning on. It could be a faulty DC jack, a bad motherboard, bad RAM and others. Within 24 hours I will supply you with an accurate diagnosis so you can choose whether to proceed with the fix.

Laptop turns on but the screen is blank

Many times, you may experience seeing that the notebook turns on by hearing the fans spin and the computer keyboard light up but you can see nothing on the monitor. The reason could be a faulty screen, a faulty LCD cable, a battery or a motherboard issue. No matter the problem I usually turn around these repairs within 48 hours.

A broken hinge is something I see far too often. You may have tried to close the lid in haste, or you may have dropped your laptop.

A broken hinge would not allow you to open and close your notebook lid easily and you would also run the risk of further damage to internal components by attempting to operate it. I can repair your broken hinge cost-effectively and I would be sure that my fix would last.

Laptop DC Jack replacement

Laptop DC power jacks are often becoming damaged primarily because they are always being connected to a charger. Hence in case you insert the charger forcibly or at a wrong angle it might damage the pin within the DC jack calling for a replacement.

Very often I repair laptops that have suffered from accidental liquid spillages. Most often I manage to salvage them with minimal cost so long as they are brought in shortly after the spill was made. Originally, I will disassemble the notebook, completely dry it out and wash all the connectors and then execute a diagnosis as to learn whether the parts have suffered damage. Most of the times I manage to put the laptop back into working order with minimal cost.

Laptop screens are rather delicate. When you drop the laptop or if an object collides with it, it’s very likely that your laptop screen will become damaged. It is also common for screens to suffer from electronic damage and reach their end of life. I replace screens from notebooks of all brands and. To get a cost-effective laptop display repair, give me a call.

Laptop Hard Drive Upgrade

Whether you would like to improve the storage on your notebook, or you think your laptop is sluggish and wish to install a faster storage device I can do this fast and cost-effectively. I’ll consult you on your needs and then suggest the perfect hard drive or SSD for your needs and install it.

Laptop is overheating

When your laptop becomes too noisy or you believe that it’s overheating, that is often a sign that fans could be damaged/really dusty and the thermal compound on the CPU (mainly) is dried.

An overheating laptop may cause damage to its internal components and generally, it shuts itself down to avoid that. If you think that your laptop shuts down randomly without warning or if you feel that it becomes very hot after a few minutes of usage, then it probably suffers from overheating. The cause could be excessive dust raising the temperature inside or a faulty fan that does not cool the notebook and circulate the air as it should. Whatever the cause is I can repair your laptop in a few hours and have you up and running again.
