Laptop turns on but the display is blank
Many times, you might experience seeing that the laptop turns on by hearing the fans spin and the keyboard lighting up but you can see nothing on the monitor. The cause could be a faulty screen, a faulty LCD cable, a battery or a motherboard issue. Whatever the issue I usually turn around these repairs within 48 hours.
A broken hinge is something I see far too often. You may have tried to close the lid in haste, or you might have dropped your laptop.
A broken hinge wouldn’t allow you to open and close your laptop’s lid easily and you would also run the risk of further damage to internal parts by attempting to operate it. I can repair your broken hinge cost-effectively and I’d be sure my fix would last.
Laptop DC Jack replacement
Laptop DC power jacks are frequently becoming damaged primarily since they’re continuously being connected to a charger. Hence if you insert the charger forcibly or at a wrong angle it might damage the pin within the DC jack calling for a replacement.
Very often I fix laptops that have suffered from accidental liquid spillages. Most often I manage to salvage them with minimal cost as long as they’re brought in soon after the spill was made. Originally, I will disassemble the laptop, completely dry it out and wash all of the connectors and then perform a diagnosis as to find out whether the components have suffered damage. The majority of the times I manage to put the notebook back into working order with minimal price.
Laptop screens are quite delicate. When you drop the notebook or if an object collides with it, it is very likely your laptop screen will get damaged. Additionally it is common for screens to suffer from digital damage and reach their end of life. I replace displays from notebooks of all brands and. To get a cheap laptop screen repair, give me a call.
Laptop Hard Drive Upgrade
Whether you wish to increase the storage on your laptop, or you think your laptop is sluggish and wish to install a faster storage device I can do this fast and cost-effectively. I will consult you on your needs and then suggest the perfect hard drive or SSD to your needs and install it.
Laptop is overheating
When your laptop gets too noisy or you feel that it’s overheating, that is often a sign that fans may be damaged/really dusty and the thermal compound on the CPU (mainly) is dried.
An overheating laptop may cause damage to its internal parts and generally, it shuts itself down to avoid that. If you think that your laptop shuts down randomly without warning or if you feel that it gets very hot after a few minutes of use, then it probably suffers from overheating. The cause could be excessive dust raising the temperature indoors or a faulty fan which does not cool the notebook and circulate the air as it should. Whatever the cause is that I can repair your notebook in a couple of hours and have you up and running again.
