I’m also experienced in the installation and repair of hardware for your laptop. I can troubleshoot and fix your computer’s memory (RAM), hard drive (data recovery), external hard disk, solid-state hard drive SSD, chip (CPU), motherboard, video/graphics card, power supply unit (PSU), keyboard, sound card, CD drive, DVD, mouse, modem, router, and USB devices.

The majority of us are hooked on our laptops to work, communicate effectively, research information and amuse ourselves. They are a part of our lives. I mostly carry them with us, and I use them extensively making them susceptible to damage.

When this occurs, I am here to assist in getting you up and running quickly. When you bring your laptop in, I will carry out a free of charge diagnosis, after which I will inform you of the nature of the fault, the options you have and provide a fixed quote.

If you approve my quote I will move in the repair straight away and it’ll usually be ready within hours (subject to part availability).

I can fix laptops of all makes and models including gaming laptops. Whether you have a hardware or software fault my extensive experience will ensure I correctly diagnose the problem and that I do a fix that’s cost-effective and long-lasting.

Several faults could prevent your notebook from turning on. It may be a faulty DC jack, a bad motherboard, bad RAM and others. Within one day I will supply you with an accurate diagnosis so you can choose whether to proceed with the fix.

Laptop turns on but the screen is blank

Many times, you may experience seeing the laptop turns on by hearing the fans spin and the computer keyboard light up but you can see nothing on the screen. The cause could be a faulty screen, a faulty LCD cable, a battery or a motherboard issue. No matter the problem I usually turn around these repairs within 48 hours.

A broken hinge is something I see far too frequently. You may have attempted to close the lid in haste, or you might have dropped your laptop.

A broken hinge wouldn’t allow you to open and close your notebook lid easily and you would also run the risk of additional damage to internal components by attempting to operate it. I can mend your broken hinge cost-effectively and I would make sure my fix would last.

Laptop DC Jack replacement

Laptop DC power jacks are frequently becoming damaged primarily since they’re always being connected to a charger. Hence in case you insert the charger forcibly or at a wrong angle it may damage the pin inside the DC jack calling for a replacement.

Very often I repair laptops which have suffered from accidental liquid spillages. Most often I manage to salvage them with minimal cost so long as they are brought in shortly after the spill was made. Initially, I will disassemble the notebook, completely dry it out and clean all of the connectors and then perform a diagnosis as to learn whether the components have suffered damage. The majority of the times I manage to put the notebook back into working order with nominal price.

Laptop screens are rather delicate. When you drop the notebook or if an object collides with it, it’s very probable your laptop screen will get damaged. Additionally it is normal for screens to suffer with electronic damage and reach their end of life. I replace screens from laptops of all brands and. For a cheap laptop display repair, give me a call.

Laptop Hard Drive Upgrade

Whether you would like to increase the storage on your notebook, or you think your laptop is sluggish and wish to install a faster storage device I can do this quickly and cost-effectively. I’ll consult you on your needs and then suggest the right hard disk or SSD to your needs and install it.

Laptop is overheating

When your laptop becomes too noisy or you believe that it is overheating, that is often a sign that fans may be damaged/really dusty and the thermal compound on the CPU (mainly) is dried.

An overheating laptop may lead to damage to its internal components and usually, it shuts itself down to prevent that. If you feel that your laptop shuts down randomly without warning or if you believe it becomes very hot after a few minutes of usage, then it probably suffers from overheating. The reason could be excessive dust raising the temperature indoors or a faulty fan which does not cool the laptop and circulate the air as it should. Whatever the cause is I can repair your laptop in a couple of hours and have you up and running again.
