Most of us are hooked on our notebooks to operate, communicate effectively, study information and amuse ourselves. They are a part of our lives. I mostly carry them with us, and I use them extensively making them prone to damage.
When this occurs, I am here to help out with getting you up and running fast. When you bring your laptop in, I will perform a free of charge identification, after which I will inform you of the nature of the fault, the options you have and provide a fixed quote.
If you approve my quote I shall proceed in the repair straight away and it’ll usually be ready within hours (subject to part availability).
I can repair laptops of all makes and models including gaming laptops. Whether you have a hardware or software fault my extensive experience will ensure I correctly diagnose the problem and that I do a fix that’s cost-effective and long-lasting.
Several faults could prevent your laptop from turning on. It could be a faulty DC jack, a bad motherboard, bad RAM and others. Within 24 hours I will provide you with an accurate diagnosis so you can decide whether to proceed with the fix.
Laptop turns on but the display is blank
Many times, you might experience seeing the notebook turns on by hearing the fans spin and the keyboard lighting up but you can see nothing on the monitor. The cause may be a faulty screen, a faulty LCD cable, a battery or a motherboard issue. Whatever the problem I usually turn around these repairs within 48 hours.
A broken hinge is something I see far too often. You may have attempted to close the lid in haste, or you may have dropped your notebook.
A broken hinge would not let you open and close your laptop’s lid easily and you would also run the risk of additional damage to internal parts by trying to operate it. I can mend your broken hinge cost-effectively and I’d make sure my fix would last.
Laptop DC Jack replacement
Laptop DC power jacks are often becoming damaged primarily because they are always being connected to a charger. Hence in case you insert the charger forcibly or at a wrong angle it might damage the pin within the DC jack calling for a replacement.
Very often I fix laptops that have suffered from accidental liquid spillages. Most often I manage to salvage them with minimal cost so long as they are brought in soon after the spill was created. Originally, I will disassemble the notebook, completely dry it out and clean all the connectors and then execute a diagnosis as to learn whether the parts have suffered damage. Most of the times I manage to put the notebook back into working order with nominal price.
Laptop screens are quite delicate. When you drop the notebook or if an object collides with it, it’s very probable that your laptop screen will get damaged. It is also normal for screens to suffer with electronic damage and reach their end of life. I replace displays from notebooks of all brands and. To get a cheap laptop screen repair, give me a call.
Laptop Hard Drive Upgrade
Whether you would like to increase the storage on your laptop, or you think your laptop is sluggish and want to install a faster storage device that I can do this fast and cost-effectively. I’ll consult you on your requirements and then suggest the right hard disk or SSD to your needs and install it.
When your laptop becomes too noisy or you feel that it is overheating, that is often a sign that fans could be damaged/really dusty as well as the thermal compound on the CPU (mainly) is dried.
An overheating laptop may cause damage to its internal components and generally, it shuts itself down to avoid that. If you feel that your laptop shuts down randomly without warning or if you feel that it becomes very hot after a couple of minutes of use, then it probably suffers from overheating. The reason could be excessive dust increasing the temperature indoors or a faulty fan which does not cool the laptop and circulate the air as it should. Whatever the cause is that I can repair your laptop in a couple of hours and have you up and running again.
