I’m also experienced in the installation and repair of hardware to your laptop. I can troubleshoot and repair your computer’s memory (RAM), hard drive (data recovery), external hard drive, solid-state hard drive SSD, processor (CPU), motherboard, video/graphics card, power supply unit (PSU), keyboard, sound card, CD drive, DVD, mouse, modem, router, and USB devices.
Most of us are reliant on our notebooks to work, communicate effectively, research information and amuse ourselves. They’re a part of our lives. I mostly carry them , and I use them extensively making them prone to damage.
When this occurs, I am here to assist in getting you up and running quickly. When you bring your laptop in, I will carry out a free of charge identification, after which I will notify you of the nature of the fault, the choices you have and provide a fixed quote.
Should you approve my quote I will move in the repair straight away and it will usually be ready within hours (subject to part availability).
I can fix laptops of all makes and models including gaming laptops. Whether you have a hardware or software fault my extensive experience will ensure I properly diagnose the problem and that I perform a repair that is cost-effective and long-lasting.
Several faults could prevent your notebook from turning on. It could be a faulty DC jack, a bad motherboard, bad RAM and others. Within one day I will supply you with an accurate diagnosis so that you can choose whether to proceed with the fix.
Laptop turns on but the display is blank
Many times, you may experience seeing that the laptop turns on by hearing the fans spin and the computer keyboard light up but you can see nothing on the screen. The cause may be a faulty screen, a faulty LCD cable, a battery or a motherboard issue. No matter the issue I usually turn around these repairs within two days.
A broken hinge is something I see far too frequently. You may have tried to close the lid in haste, or you might have dropped your notebook.
A broken hinge wouldn’t allow you to open and close your notebook lid easily and you would also run the risk of further damage to internal parts by attempting to operate it. I can mend your broken hinge cost-effectively and I would be sure my repair would last.
Laptop DC Jack replacement
Laptop DC power jacks are often becoming damaged primarily because they are continuously being connected to a charger. Hence in case you insert the charger forcibly or at a wrong angle it might damage the pin inside the DC jack calling for a replacement.
Very often I repair laptops which have suffered from accidental liquid spillages. Most often I manage to salvage them with minimal cost so long as they are brought in shortly after the spill was made. Originally, I will disassemble the laptop, completely dry it out and wash all of the connectors and then perform a diagnosis as to learn whether the parts have suffered damage. Most of the times I manage to put the notebook back into working order with nominal price.
Laptop screens are rather delicate. When you drop the notebook or if an object collides with it, it’s very likely that your laptop screen will get damaged. It is also normal for screens to suffer with electronic damage and reach their end of life. I replace screens from notebooks of all brands and. For a cheap laptop display repair, give me a call.
Laptop Hard Drive Upgrade
Whether you would like to improve the storage on your laptop, or you think your laptop is sluggish and want to install a faster storage device that I can do this fast and cost-effectively. I will consult you on your needs and then suggest the perfect hard disk or SSD to your needs and install it.
Laptop is overheating
When your laptop becomes too noisy or you feel that it’s overheating, that is often a sign that fans could be damaged/really dusty as well as the thermal compound on the CPU (mainly) is dried.
An overheating laptop may cause damage to its internal parts and usually, it shuts itself down to prevent that. If you feel that your laptop shuts down randomly without warning or if you believe it becomes very hot after a couple of minutes of use, then it probably suffers from overheating. The reason could be excessive dust raising the temperature indoors or a faulty fan that does not cool the laptop and circulate the air as it should. Whatever the cause is that I can repair your laptop in a couple of hours and have you up and running again.
