I am also experienced in the installation and repair of hardware for your laptop. I can troubleshoot and fix your computer’s memory (RAM), hard drive (data recovery), external hard drive, solid-state hard disk SSD, chip (CPU), motherboard, video/graphics card, power supply unit (PSU), keyboard, sound card, CD drive, DVD, mouse, modem, router, and USB devices.

The majority of us are reliant on our notebooks to operate, communicate effectively, research information and entertain ourselves. They’re a part of our lives. I mostly carry them with us, and I use them extensively making them susceptible to damage.

When this occurs, I am here to help out with getting you up and running quickly. When you bring your laptop in, I will perform a free of charge diagnosis, after which I will inform you of the nature of the error, the options you have and provide a fixed quote.

Should you approve my quote I will move in the repair straight away and it will usually be ready within hours (subject to part availability).

I can repair laptops of all makes and models including gaming laptops. Whether you’ve got a hardware or software fault my extensive experience will ensure I properly diagnose the problem and that I perform a fix that is cost-effective and long-lasting.

Several faults could prevent your laptop from turning on. It may be a faulty DC jack, a bad motherboard, bad RAM and others. Within 24 hours I will supply you with an accurate diagnosis so that you can choose whether to proceed with the repair.

Laptop turns on but the display is blank

Many times, you may experience seeing that the notebook turns on by hearing the fans spin and the computer keyboard light up but you can see nothing on the screen. The cause could be a faulty display, a faulty LCD cable, a battery or a motherboard issue. Whatever the problem I usually turn around these repairs within two days.

A broken hinge is something I see far too often. You may have attempted to close the lid in haste, or you might have dropped your laptop.

A broken hinge would not let you open and close your notebook lid easily and you would also run the risk of further damage to internal parts by attempting to operate it. I can mend your broken hinge cost-effectively and I’d be sure my repair would last.

Laptop DC Jack replacement

Laptop DC power jacks are often becoming damaged primarily since they’re continuously being connected to a charger. Hence if you insert the charger forcibly or at a wrong angle it may damage the pin within the DC jack calling for a replacement.

Very often I repair laptops that have suffered from accidental liquid spillages. Most often I manage to salvage them with minimal cost as long as they are brought in soon after the spill was created. Originally, I will disassemble the notebook, completely dry it out and clean all of the connectors and then execute a diagnosis as to find out whether the parts have suffered damage. Most of the times I manage to put the notebook back into working order with minimal price.

Laptop screens are quite delicate. When you drop the notebook or if an object collides with it, it’s very probable your laptop screen will get damaged. It is also normal for screens to suffer from digital damage and reach their end of life. I replace screens from laptops of all brands and. To get a cheap laptop screen repair, give me a call.

Laptop Hard Drive Upgrade

Whether you would like to improve the storage on your notebook, or you think your laptop is sluggish and want to install a faster storage device that I can do this quickly and cost-effectively. I will consult you on your requirements and then suggest the perfect hard disk or SSD for your needs and install it.

Laptop overheats

When your laptop gets too noisy or you feel that it’s overheating, that is often a sign that fans may be damaged/really dusty as well as the thermal compound on the CPU (mainly) is dried.

An overheating laptop may cause damage to its internal components and generally, it shuts itself down to prevent that. If you think that your laptop shuts down randomly without warning or if you believe it becomes very hot after a few minutes of usage, then it probably suffers from overheating. The reason could be excessive dust increasing the temperature inside or a faulty fan that does not cool the notebook and circulate the air as it should. Whatever the cause is I can repair your notebook in a couple of hours and have you up and running again.
