Laptop turns on but the screen is blank

Many times, you might experience seeing the notebook turns on by hearing the fans spin and the computer keyboard light up but you can see nothing on the monitor. The cause could be a faulty display, a faulty LCD cable, a battery or a motherboard issue. Whatever the issue I usually turn around these repairs within 48 hours.

A broken hinge is something I see far too frequently. You may have tried to close the lid in haste, or you might have dropped your laptop.

A broken hinge would not allow you to open and close your notebook lid easily and you would also run the risk of further damage to internal parts by trying to operate it. I can repair your broken hinge cost-effectively and I would be sure my fix would last.

Laptop DC Jack replacement

Laptop DC power jacks are often becoming damaged primarily since they’re continuously being connected to a charger. Hence in case you insert the charger forcibly or at a wrong angle it might damage the pin within the DC jack calling for a replacement.

Very often I repair laptops which have suffered from accidental liquid spillages. Most often I manage to salvage them with minimal cost so long as they’re brought in soon after the spill was created. Originally, I will disassemble the laptop, completely dry it out and clean all the connectors and then execute a diagnosis as to learn whether the parts have suffered damage. Most of the times I manage to put the notebook back into working order with nominal price.

Laptop screens are quite delicate. When you drop the laptop or if an object collides with it, it’s very likely your laptop screen will become damaged. It is also common for screens to suffer with electronic damage and reach their end of life. I replace screens from laptops of all brands and. To get a cost-effective laptop screen repair, give me a call.

Laptop Hard Drive Upgrade

Whether you wish to increase the storage on your notebook, or you think your laptop is sluggish and want to install a faster storage device that I can do this quickly and cost-effectively. I will consult you on your needs and then suggest the right hard disk or SSD to your needs and install it.

Laptop overheats

When your laptop becomes too noisy or you feel that it’s overheating, that’s often a sign that fans could be damaged/really dusty as well as the thermal compound on the CPU (mainly) is dried.

An overheating laptop may lead to damage to its internal components and generally, it shuts itself down to prevent that. If you feel that your laptop shuts down randomly without warning or if you feel that it becomes very hot after a few minutes of usage, then it probably suffers from overheating. The cause could be excessive dust raising the temperature indoors or a faulty fan which does not cool the laptop and circulate the air as it should. Whatever the cause is I can repair your notebook in a couple of hours and have you up and running again.
