I’m also experienced in the installation and repair of hardware to your notebook. Most of us are reliant on our laptops to work, communicate effectively, study information and entertain ourselves. They’re a part of our lives. I mostly carry them , and I use them extensively making them prone to damage.

When this occurs, I am here to help out with getting you up and running quickly. When you bring your laptop in, I will carry out a free of charge identification, after which I will inform you of the nature of the fault, the options you have and provide a fixed quote.

Should you approve my quote I shall proceed in the repair straight away and it’ll usually be ready within hours (subject to part availability).

I can fix laptops of all makes and models including gaming laptops. Whether you have a hardware or software fault my extensive experience will guarantee I properly diagnose the issue and that I do a repair that’s cost-effective and long-lasting.

Several faults could prevent your laptop from turning on. It may be a faulty DC jack, a bad motherboard, bad RAM and others. Within one day I will supply you with an accurate diagnosis so you can decide whether to proceed with the repair.

Laptop turns on but the display is blank

Many times, you may experience seeing the notebook turns on by hearing the fans spin and the keyboard lighting up but you can see nothing on the monitor. The cause could be a faulty screen, a faulty LCD cable, a battery or a motherboard issue. No matter the issue I usually turn around these repairs within 48 hours.

A broken hinge is something I see far too often. You might have attempted to close the lid in haste, or you may have dropped your laptop.

A broken hinge would not let you open and close your notebook lid easily and you would also run the risk of further damage to internal components by trying to operate it. I can mend your broken hinge cost-effectively and I’d be sure that my fix would last.

Laptop DC Jack replacement

Laptop DC power jacks are often becoming damaged primarily because they are continuously being connected to a charger. Hence in case you insert the charger forcibly or at a wrong angle it may damage the pin within the DC jack calling for a replacement.

Very often I fix laptops which have suffered from accidental liquid spillages. Most often I manage to salvage them with minimal cost so long as they are brought in soon after the spill was made. Initially, I will disassemble the notebook, completely dry it out and wash all of the connectors and then perform a diagnosis as to find out whether the components have suffered damage. Most of the times I manage to put the laptop back into working order with nominal price.

Laptop screens are rather delicate. When you drop the notebook or if an object collides with it, it is very likely your laptop screen will get damaged. It is also normal for screens to suffer from electronic damage and reach their end of life. I replace displays from laptops of all brands and. To get a cost-effective laptop display repair, give me a call.

Laptop Hard Drive Upgrade

Whether you wish to improve the storage on your laptop, or you think your laptop is sluggish and want to install a faster storage device I can do this fast and cost-effectively. I will consult you on your requirements and then suggest the perfect hard disk or SSD to your needs and install it.

Laptop overheats

When your laptop becomes too noisy or you believe that it’s overheating, that is often a sign that fans may be damaged/really dusty and the thermal compound on the CPU (mainly) is dried.

An overheating laptop may cause damage to its internal parts and generally, it shuts itself down to prevent that. If you feel that your laptop shuts down randomly without warning or if you believe it gets very hot after a couple of minutes of use, then it probably suffers from overheating. The reason could be excessive dust increasing the temperature inside or a faulty fan which does not cool the laptop and circulate the air as it should. Whatever the cause is that I can repair your laptop in a couple of hours and have you up and running again.
