The majority of us are hooked on our laptops to operate, communicate effectively, research information and entertain ourselves. They’re a part of our lives. I mostly carry them with us, and I use them extensively making them prone to damage.

I can repair laptops of all makes and models including gaming laptops. Whether you’ve got a hardware or software fault my extensive experience will ensure I properly diagnose the problem and that I perform a fix that is cost-effective and long-lasting.

Several faults could prevent your laptop from turning on. It could be a faulty DC jack, a bad motherboard, bad RAM and others. Within one day I will supply you with an accurate diagnosis so you can decide whether to proceed with the fix.

Laptop turns on but the screen is blank

Many times, you might experience seeing that the notebook turns on by hearing the fans spin and the keyboard lighting up but you can see nothing on the screen. The reason may be a faulty screen, a faulty LCD cable, a battery or a motherboard issue. No matter the problem I usually turn around these repairs within 48 hours.

A broken hinge is something I see far too frequently. You might have tried to close the lid in haste, or you might have dropped your laptop.

A broken hinge wouldn’t allow you to open and close your laptop’s lid easily and you would also run the risk of additional damage to internal components by attempting to operate it. I can repair your broken hinge cost-effectively and I would make sure that my fix would last.

Laptop DC Jack replacement

Laptop DC power jacks are often becoming damaged primarily because they are continuously being connected to a charger. Hence in case you insert the charger forcibly or at a wrong angle it may damage the pin inside the DC jack calling for a replacement.

Very often I repair laptops that have suffered from accidental liquid spillages. Most often I manage to salvage them with minimal cost so long as they are brought in shortly after the spill was made. Initially, I will disassemble the laptop, completely dry it out and wash all the connectors and then perform a diagnosis as to learn whether the parts have suffered damage. Most of the times I manage to put the laptop back into working order with minimal cost.

Laptop screens are rather delicate. When you drop the laptop or if an object collides with it, it’s very likely that your laptop screen will get damaged. Additionally it is normal for screens to suffer with electronic damage and reach their end of life. I replace screens from notebooks of all brands and. For a cost-effective laptop screen repair, give me a call.

Laptop Hard Drive Upgrade

Whether you would like to increase the storage on your notebook, or you think your laptop is sluggish and wish to install a faster storage device I can do this quickly and cost-effectively. I will consult you on your needs and then suggest the perfect hard disk or SSD for your needs and install it.

Laptop is overheating

When your laptop gets too noisy or you feel that it’s overheating, that is often a sign that fans could be damaged/really dusty as well as the thermal compound on the CPU (mainly) is dried.

An overheating laptop may cause damage to its internal parts and generally, it shuts itself down to avoid that. If you feel that your laptop shuts down randomly without warning or if you feel that it gets very hot after a couple of minutes of use, then it probably suffers from overheating. The reason could be excessive dust raising the temperature inside or a faulty fan that does not cool the laptop and circulate the air as it should. Whatever the cause is I can repair your laptop in a couple of hours and have you up and running again.
