Most of us are hooked on our notebooks to work, communicate effectively, study information and entertain ourselves. They are a part of our lives. I mostly carry them with us, and I use them extensively making them prone to damage.

When this occurs, I am here to assist in getting you up and running fast. When you bring your laptop in, I will carry out a free of charge identification, after which I will inform you of the nature of the error, the choices you have and provide a fixed quote.

If you approve my quote I will move in the repair straight away and it will usually be ready within hours (subject to part availability).

I can fix laptops of all makes and models including gaming laptops. Whether you’ve got a hardware or software fault my extensive experience will ensure I correctly diagnose the issue and that I perform a fix that’s cost-effective and long-lasting.

Several faults could prevent your notebook from turning on. It may be a faulty DC jack, a bad motherboard, bad RAM and others. Within 24 hours I will provide you with an accurate diagnosis so that you can decide whether to proceed with the repair.

Laptop turns on but the screen is blank

Many times, you might experience seeing the laptop turns on by hearing the fans spin and the computer keyboard light up but you can see nothing on the screen. The reason could be a faulty screen, a faulty LCD cable, a battery or a motherboard issue. No matter the problem I usually turn around these repairs within two days.

A broken hinge is something I see far too often. You may have tried to close the lid in haste, or you might have dropped your notebook.

A broken hinge would not let you open and close your laptop’s lid easily and you would also run the risk of additional damage to internal parts by trying to operate it. I can mend your broken hinge cost-effectively and I’d be sure my repair would last.

Laptop DC Jack replacement

Laptop DC power jacks are frequently becoming damaged primarily since they’re always being connected to a charger. Hence if you insert the charger forcibly or at a wrong angle it might damage the pin inside the DC jack calling for a replacement.

Very often I repair laptops that have suffered from accidental liquid spillages. Most often I manage to salvage them with minimal cost as long as they are brought in shortly after the spill was made. Originally, I will disassemble the notebook, completely dry it out and clean all of the connectors and then perform a diagnosis as to learn whether the components have suffered damage. The majority of the times I manage to put the laptop back into working order with nominal cost.

Laptop screens are rather delicate. When you drop the laptop or if an object collides with it, it’s very probable that your laptop screen will get damaged. Additionally it is common for screens to suffer with digital damage and reach their end of life. I replace displays from notebooks of all brands and. To get a cheap laptop screen repair, give me a call.

Laptop Hard Drive Upgrade

Whether you would like to increase the storage on your notebook, or you think your laptop is sluggish and want to install a faster storage device that I can do this fast and cost-effectively. I will consult you on your needs and then suggest the right hard drive or SSD to your needs and install it.

Laptop overheats

When your laptop gets too noisy or you believe that it’s overheating, that’s often a sign that fans may be damaged/really dusty and the thermal compound on the CPU (mainly) is dried.

An overheating laptop may cause damage to its internal parts and generally, it shuts itself down to avoid that. If you feel that your laptop shuts down randomly without warning or if you feel that it becomes very hot after a few minutes of use, then it probably suffers from overheating. The cause could be excessive dust increasing the temperature indoors or a faulty fan that does not cool the notebook and circulate the air as it should. Whatever the cause is I can repair your notebook in a couple of hours and have you up and running again.
