Most of us are hooked on our notebooks to work, communicate effectively, study information and amuse ourselves. They are a part of our lives. I mostly carry them with us, and I use them extensively making them susceptible to damage.
When this happens, I am here to help out with getting you up and running fast. When you bring your laptop in, I will carry out a free of charge identification, and I will inform you of the nature of the fault, the options you have and provide a fixed quote.
Should you approve my quote I will move in the repair straight away and it’ll usually be ready within hours (subject to part availability).
I can repair laptops of all makes and models such as gaming laptops. Whether you’ve got a hardware or software fault my extensive experience will ensure I correctly diagnose the problem and that I do a repair that’s cost-effective and long-lasting.
Several faults could prevent your notebook from turning on. It could be a faulty DC jack, a bad motherboard, bad RAM and others. Within one day I will provide you with an accurate diagnosis so that you can choose whether to proceed with the fix.
Laptop turns on but the display is blank
Many times, you may experience seeing that the notebook turns on by hearing the fans spin and the keyboard lighting up but you can see nothing on the screen. The reason could be a faulty display, a faulty LCD cable, a battery or a motherboard issue. No matter the issue I usually turn around these repairs within 48 hours.
A broken hinge is something I see far too frequently. You may have tried to close the lid in haste, or you might have dropped your notebook.
A broken hinge would not let you open and close your laptop’s lid easily and you would also run the risk of further damage to internal components by trying to operate it. I can repair your broken hinge cost-effectively and I’d be certain my fix would last.
Laptop DC Jack replacement
Laptop DC power jacks are frequently becoming damaged primarily because they are continuously being connected to a charger. Hence in case you insert the charger forcibly or at a wrong angle it may damage the pin within the DC jack calling for a replacement.
Very often I repair laptops which have suffered from accidental liquid spillages. Most often I manage to salvage them with minimal cost so long as they’re brought in shortly after the spill was created. Initially, I will disassemble the laptop, completely dry it out and wash all of the connectors and then execute a diagnosis as to learn whether the parts have suffered damage. The majority of the times I manage to put the notebook back into working order with minimal cost.
Laptop screens are rather delicate. When you drop the laptop or if an object collides with it, it’s very probable that your laptop screen will get damaged. It is also normal for screens to suffer with digital damage and reach their end of life. I replace screens from laptops of all brands and. For a cheap laptop display repair, give me a call.
Laptop Hard Drive Upgrade
Whether you wish to improve the storage on your laptop, or you think your laptop is sluggish and wish to install a faster storage device that I can do this quickly and cost-effectively. I will consult you on your needs and then suggest the perfect hard disk or SSD to your needs and install it.
Laptop is overheating
When your laptop gets too noisy or you believe that it’s overheating, that is often a sign that fans could be damaged/really dusty and the thermal compound on the CPU (mainly) is dried.
An overheating laptop may cause damage to its internal parts and usually, it shuts itself down to prevent that. If you think that your laptop shuts down randomly without warning or if you believe it becomes very hot after a couple of minutes of usage, then it probably suffers from overheating. The reason could be excessive dust raising the temperature inside or a faulty fan that does not cool the laptop and circulate the air as it should. Whatever the cause is that I can repair your notebook in a couple of hours and have you up and running again.
