The majority of us are hooked on our laptops to work, communicate effectively, research information and amuse ourselves. They are a part of our lives. I mostly carry them with us, and I use them extensively making them susceptible to damage.

When this occurs, I am here to help out with getting you up and running quickly. When you bring your laptop in, I will carry out a free of charge identification, after which I will inform you of the nature of the error, the options you have and provide a fixed quote.

If you approve my quote I will move in the repair straight away and it will usually be ready within hours (subject to part availability).

I can repair laptops of all makes and models including gaming laptops. Whether you’ve got a hardware or software fault my extensive experience will guarantee I correctly diagnose the problem and that I perform a fix that’s cost-effective and long-lasting.

Several faults could prevent your laptop from turning on. It could be a faulty DC jack, a bad motherboard, bad RAM and others. Within 24 hours I will provide you with an accurate diagnosis so that you can choose whether to proceed with the fix.

Laptop turns on but the display is blank

Many times, you may experience seeing the notebook turns on by hearing the fans spin and the computer keyboard lighting up but you can see nothing on the screen. The reason could be a faulty screen, a faulty LCD cable, a battery or a motherboard issue. No matter the issue I usually turn around these repairs within 48 hours.

A broken hinge is something I see far too often. You might have tried to close the lid in haste, or you might have dropped your laptop.

A broken hinge wouldn’t let you open and close your notebook lid easily and you would also run the risk of further damage to internal components by attempting to operate it. I can mend your broken hinge cost-effectively and I would make sure my fix would last.

Laptop DC Jack replacement

Laptop DC power jacks are often becoming damaged primarily since they’re always being connected to a charger. Hence if you insert the charger forcibly or at a wrong angle it may damage the pin within the DC jack calling for a replacement.

Very often I fix laptops which have suffered from accidental liquid spillages. Most often I manage to salvage them with minimal cost as long as they are brought in shortly after the spill was created. Originally, I will disassemble the notebook, completely dry it out and clean all the connectors and then perform a diagnosis as to learn whether the components have suffered damage. The majority of the times I manage to put the laptop back into working order with minimal cost.

Laptop screens are rather delicate. When you drop the notebook or if an object collides with it, it is very probable that your laptop screen will get damaged. It is also common for screens to suffer with digital damage and reach their end of life. I replace screens from notebooks of all brands and. To get a cost-effective laptop screen repair, give me a call.

Laptop Hard Drive Upgrade

Whether you would like to improve the storage on your laptop, or you think your laptop is sluggish and wish to install a faster storage device I can do this fast and cost-effectively. I’ll consult you on your needs and then suggest the perfect hard drive or SSD to your needs and install it.

Laptop overheats

When your laptop becomes too noisy or you believe that it is overheating, that’s often a sign that fans may be damaged/really dusty and the thermal compound on the CPU (mainly) is dried.

An overheating laptop may lead to damage to its internal components and generally, it shuts itself down to avoid that. If you feel that your laptop shuts down randomly without warning or if you believe it gets very hot after a couple of minutes of usage, then it probably suffers from overheating. The reason could be excessive dust raising the temperature inside or a faulty fan that does not cool the laptop and circulate the air as it should. Whatever the cause is that I can repair your notebook in a few hours and have you up and running again.
