I can fix laptops of all makes and models including gaming laptops. Whether you’ve got a hardware or software fault my extensive experience will ensure I correctly diagnose the problem and that I do a repair that is cost-effective and long-lasting.

Several faults could prevent your laptop from turning on. It could be a faulty DC jack, a bad motherboard, bad RAM and others. Within one day I will provide you with an accurate diagnosis so you can choose whether to proceed with the repair.

Laptop turns on but the screen is blank

Many times, you might experience seeing that the notebook turns on by hearing the fans spin and the computer keyboard light up but you can see nothing on the screen. The reason may be a faulty screen, a faulty LCD cable, a battery or a motherboard issue. No matter the problem I usually turn around these repairs within two days.

A broken hinge is something I see far too often. You may have tried to close the lid in haste, or you might have dropped your notebook.

A broken hinge would not allow you to open and close your laptop’s lid easily and you would also run the risk of additional damage to internal parts by attempting to operate it. I can mend your broken hinge cost-effectively and I’d be sure that my repair would last.

Laptop DC Jack replacement

Laptop DC power jacks are often becoming damaged primarily since they’re always being connected to a charger. Hence if you insert the charger forcibly or at a wrong angle it may damage the pin inside the DC jack calling for a replacement.

Very often I fix laptops which have suffered from accidental liquid spillages. Most often I manage to salvage them with minimal cost so long as they’re brought in shortly after the spill was created. Initially, I will disassemble the laptop, completely dry it out and wash all the connectors and then perform a diagnosis as to find out whether the components have suffered damage. Most of the times I manage to put the laptop back into working order with minimal cost.

Laptop screens are rather delicate. When you drop the laptop or if an object collides with it, it is very likely your laptop screen will get damaged. Additionally it is common for screens to suffer from electronic damage and reach their end of life. I replace screens from notebooks of all brands and. For a cost-effective laptop display repair, give me a call.

Laptop Hard Drive Upgrade

Whether you would like to improve the storage on your laptop, or you think your laptop is sluggish and wish to install a faster storage device I can do this quickly and cost-effectively. I’ll consult you on your requirements and then suggest the right hard drive or SSD to your needs and install it.

Laptop is overheating

When your laptop becomes too noisy or you feel that it is overheating, that’s often a sign that fans may be damaged/really dusty and the thermal compound on the CPU (mainly) is dried.

An overheating laptop may cause damage to its internal components and usually, it shuts itself down to prevent that. If you feel that your laptop shuts down randomly without warning or if you feel that it becomes very hot after a few minutes of use, then it probably suffers from overheating. The reason could be excessive dust increasing the temperature inside or a faulty fan that does not cool the laptop and circulate the air as it should. Whatever the cause is I can repair your notebook in a couple of hours and have you up and running again.
