Most of us are reliant on our laptops to work, communicate effectively, research information and entertain ourselves. They’re a part of our lives. I mostly carry them , and I use them extensively making them prone to damage.

I can fix laptops of all makes and models such as gaming laptops. Whether you have a hardware or software fault my extensive experience will guarantee I properly diagnose the issue and that I do a fix that is cost-effective and long-lasting.

Several faults could prevent your notebook from turning on. It may be a faulty DC jack, a bad motherboard, bad RAM and others. Within 24 hours I will supply you with an accurate diagnosis so that you can decide whether to proceed with the fix.

Laptop turns on but the screen is blank

Many times, you may experience seeing the notebook turns on by hearing the fans spin and the computer keyboard lighting up but you can see nothing on the screen. The cause may be a faulty display, a faulty LCD cable, a battery or a motherboard issue. No matter the issue I usually turn around these repairs within two days.

A broken hinge is something I see far too often. You may have attempted to close the lid in haste, or you might have dropped your notebook.

A broken hinge would not allow you to open and close your laptop’s lid easily and you would also run the risk of further damage to internal parts by trying to operate it. I can repair your broken hinge cost-effectively and I’d make sure that my repair would last.

Laptop DC Jack replacement

Laptop DC power jacks are frequently becoming damaged primarily since they’re always being connected to a charger. Hence if you insert the charger forcibly or at a wrong angle it might damage the pin within the DC jack calling for a replacement.

Very often I fix laptops which have suffered from accidental liquid spillages. Most often I manage to salvage them with minimal cost so long as they’re brought in soon after the spill was made. Originally, I will disassemble the notebook, completely dry it out and clean all the connectors and then execute a diagnosis as to find out whether the components have suffered damage. Most of the times I manage to put the laptop back into working order with nominal price.

Laptop screens are quite delicate. When you drop the laptop or if an object collides with it, it is very likely that your laptop screen will get damaged. Additionally it is common for screens to suffer from digital damage and reach their end of life. I replace displays from notebooks of all brands and. For a cost-effective laptop display repair, give me a call.

Laptop Hard Drive Upgrade

Whether you wish to increase the storage on your notebook, or you think your laptop is sluggish and want to install a faster storage device that I can do this quickly and cost-effectively. I’ll consult you on your needs and then suggest the perfect hard drive or SSD to your needs and install it.

Laptop is overheating

When your laptop becomes too noisy or you feel that it is overheating, that is often a sign that fans could be damaged/really dusty and the thermal compound on the CPU (mainly) is dried.

An overheating laptop may cause damage to its internal parts and usually, it shuts itself down to prevent that. If you think that your laptop shuts down randomly without warning or if you believe it gets very hot after a couple of minutes of usage, then it probably suffers from overheating. The reason could be excessive dust raising the temperature indoors or a faulty fan which does not cool the laptop and circulate the air as it should. Whatever the cause is I can repair your laptop in a couple of hours and have you up and running again.
