Laptop turns on but the display is blank
Many times, you might experience seeing the laptop turns on by hearing the fans spin and the computer keyboard light up but you can see nothing on the monitor. The reason may be a faulty display, a faulty LCD cable, a battery or a motherboard issue. Whatever the issue I usually turn around these repairs within two days.
A broken hinge is something I see far too frequently. You may have attempted to close the lid in haste, or you might have dropped your laptop.
A broken hinge would not let you open and close your notebook lid easily and you would also run the risk of further damage to internal parts by trying to operate it. I can repair your broken hinge cost-effectively and I would be certain that my fix would last.
Laptop DC Jack replacement
Laptop DC power jacks are frequently becoming damaged primarily since they’re always being connected to a charger. Hence if you insert the charger forcibly or at a wrong angle it may damage the pin inside the DC jack calling for a replacement.
Very often I fix laptops that have suffered from accidental liquid spillages. Most often I manage to salvage them with minimal cost so long as they’re brought in shortly after the spill was made. Initially, I will disassemble the notebook, completely dry it out and wash all of the connectors and then perform a diagnosis as to learn whether the components have suffered damage. Most of the times I manage to put the notebook back into working order with minimal cost.
Laptop screens are rather delicate. When you drop the notebook or if an object collides with it, it’s very likely that your laptop screen will get damaged. It is also common for screens to suffer with electronic damage and reach their end of life. I replace screens from notebooks of all brands and. Laptop Hard Drive Upgrade
Whether you wish to improve the storage on your laptop, or you think your laptop is sluggish and want to install a faster storage device I can do this quickly and cost-effectively. I’ll consult you on your requirements and then suggest the right hard drive or SSD to your needs and install it.
Laptop is overheating
When your laptop becomes too noisy or you feel that it is overheating, that is often a sign that fans could be damaged/really dusty as well as the thermal compound on the CPU (mainly) is dried.
An overheating laptop may lead to damage to its internal parts and usually, it shuts itself down to avoid that. If you feel that your laptop shuts down randomly without warning or if you believe it gets very hot after a few minutes of use, then it probably suffers from overheating. The reason could be excessive dust raising the temperature indoors or a faulty fan that does not cool the laptop and circulate the air as it should. Whatever the cause is I can repair your notebook in a few hours and have you up and running again.
