I am also experienced in the installation and repair of hardware to your laptop. Most of us are hooked on our laptops to operate, communicate effectively, study information and entertain ourselves. They are a part of our lives. I mostly carry them with us, and I use them extensively making them prone to damage.

When this happens, I am here to help out with getting you up and running fast. When you bring your laptop in, I will carry out a free of charge diagnosis, after which I will inform you of the nature of the error, the options you have and provide a fixed quote.

If you approve my quote I shall move in the repair straight away and it’ll usually be ready within hours (subject to part availability).

I can fix laptops of all makes and models including gaming laptops. Whether you have a hardware or software fault my extensive experience will ensure I correctly diagnose the issue and that I perform a repair that’s cost-effective and long-lasting.

Several faults could prevent your laptop from turning on. It may be a faulty DC jack, a bad motherboard, bad RAM and others. Within 24 hours I will provide you with an accurate diagnosis so that you can choose whether to proceed with the fix.

Laptop turns on but the screen is blank

Many times, you may experience seeing the notebook turns on by hearing the fans spin and the computer keyboard light up but you can see nothing on the screen. The cause could be a faulty display, a faulty LCD cable, a battery or a motherboard issue. Whatever the issue I usually turn around these repairs within two days.

A broken hinge is something I see far too frequently. You might have attempted to close the lid in haste, or you might have dropped your laptop.

A broken hinge wouldn’t allow you to open and close your laptop’s lid easily and you would also run the risk of additional damage to internal components by attempting to operate it. I can mend your broken hinge cost-effectively and I would be sure that my repair would last.

Laptop DC Jack replacement

Laptop DC power jacks are often becoming damaged primarily since they’re always being connected to a charger. Hence if you insert the charger forcibly or at a wrong angle it may damage the pin inside the DC jack calling for a replacement.

Very often I fix laptops that have suffered from accidental liquid spillages. Most often I manage to salvage them with minimal cost as long as they are brought in soon after the spill was created. Initially, I will disassemble the notebook, completely dry it out and wash all of the connectors and then perform a diagnosis as to find out whether the parts have suffered damage. The majority of the times I manage to put the notebook back into working order with minimal cost.

Laptop screens are rather delicate. When you drop the notebook or if an object collides with it, it’s very probable your laptop screen will become damaged. It is also normal for screens to suffer with digital damage and reach their end of life. I replace displays from notebooks of all brands and. To get a cost-effective laptop display repair, give me a call.

Laptop Hard Drive Upgrade

Whether you wish to increase the storage on your notebook, or you think your laptop is sluggish and want to install a faster storage device I can do this fast and cost-effectively. I will consult you on your requirements and then suggest the right hard disk or SSD for your needs and install it.

Laptop is overheating

When your laptop becomes too noisy or you feel that it is overheating, that’s often a sign that fans could be damaged/really dusty and the thermal compound on the CPU (mainly) is dried.

An overheating laptop may cause damage to its internal parts and usually, it shuts itself down to avoid that. If you feel that your laptop shuts down randomly without warning or if you feel that it becomes very hot after a couple of minutes of use, then it probably suffers from overheating. The reason could be excessive dust raising the temperature indoors or a faulty fan which does not cool the notebook and circulate the air as it should. Whatever the cause is that I can repair your notebook in a couple of hours and have you up and running again.
