Most of us are hooked on our laptops to operate, communicate effectively, research information and amuse ourselves. They’re a part of our lives. I mostly carry them , and I use them extensively making them prone to damage.
When this happens, I am here to assist in getting you up and running fast. When you bring your laptop in, I will perform a free of charge identification, and I will notify you of the nature of the error, the options you have and provide a fixed quote.
Should you approve my quote I shall move in the repair straight away and it’ll usually be ready within hours (subject to part availability).
I can fix laptops of all makes and models including gaming laptops. Whether you’ve got a hardware or software fault my extensive experience will ensure I properly diagnose the issue and that I perform a fix that’s cost-effective and long-lasting.
Several faults could prevent your notebook from turning on. It may be a faulty DC jack, a bad motherboard, bad RAM and others. Within one day I will provide you with an accurate diagnosis so you can choose whether to proceed with the fix.
Laptop turns on but the display is blank
Many times, you might experience seeing that the notebook turns on by hearing the fans spin and the computer keyboard light up but you can see nothing on the screen. The reason could be a faulty screen, a faulty LCD cable, a battery or a motherboard issue. Whatever the issue I usually turn around these repairs within two days.
A broken hinge is something I see far too frequently. You may have tried to close the lid in haste, or you may have dropped your notebook.
A broken hinge would not allow you to open and close your laptop’s lid easily and you would also run the risk of additional damage to internal parts by attempting to operate it. I can mend your broken hinge cost-effectively and I would make sure my repair would last.
Laptop DC Jack replacement
Laptop DC power jacks are frequently becoming damaged primarily since they’re always being connected to a charger. Hence if you insert the charger forcibly or at a wrong angle it may damage the pin within the DC jack calling for a replacement.
Very often I repair laptops that have suffered from accidental liquid spillages. Most often I manage to salvage them with minimal cost as long as they’re brought in soon after the spill was made. Originally, I will disassemble the notebook, completely dry it out and clean all of the connectors and then perform a diagnosis as to learn whether the parts have suffered damage. The majority of the times I manage to put the laptop back into working order with nominal price.
Laptop screens are rather delicate. When you drop the notebook or if an object collides with it, it is very likely your laptop screen will get damaged. It is also common for screens to suffer with electronic damage and reach their end of life. I replace screens from laptops of all brands and. For a cheap laptop screen repair, give me a call.
Laptop Hard Drive Upgrade
Whether you would like to improve the storage on your notebook, or you think your laptop is sluggish and wish to install a faster storage device I can do this fast and cost-effectively. I will consult you on your needs and then suggest the perfect hard disk or SSD to your needs and install it.
Laptop is overheating
When your laptop gets too noisy or you believe that it’s overheating, that is often a sign that fans could be damaged/really dusty and the thermal compound on the CPU (mainly) is dried.
An overheating laptop may cause damage to its internal parts and generally, it shuts itself down to prevent that. If you feel that your laptop shuts down randomly without warning or if you feel that it gets very hot after a couple of minutes of usage, then it probably suffers from overheating. The cause could be excessive dust increasing the temperature inside or a faulty fan that does not cool the notebook and circulate the air as it should. Whatever the cause is I can repair your notebook in a couple of hours and have you up and running again.
