I can repair laptops of all makes and models such as gaming laptops. Whether you’ve got a hardware or software fault my extensive experience will ensure I correctly diagnose the problem and that I do a fix that’s cost-effective and long-lasting.

Several faults could prevent your laptop from turning on. It may be a faulty DC jack, a bad motherboard, bad RAM and others. Within one day I will supply you with an accurate diagnosis so that you can choose whether to proceed with the repair.

Laptop turns on but the screen is blank

Many times, you may experience seeing the laptop turns on by hearing the fans spin and the keyboard light up but you can see nothing on the monitor. The cause could be a faulty screen, a faulty LCD cable, a battery or a motherboard issue. Whatever the issue I usually turn around these repairs within 48 hours.

A broken hinge is something I see far too often. You might have attempted to close the lid in haste, or you might have dropped your notebook.

A broken hinge would not allow you to open and close your laptop’s lid easily and you would also run the risk of additional damage to internal parts by attempting to operate it. I can mend your broken hinge cost-effectively and I would make sure that my repair would last.

Laptop DC Jack replacement

Laptop DC power jacks are often becoming damaged primarily because they are continuously being connected to a charger. Hence in case you insert the charger forcibly or at a wrong angle it may damage the pin inside the DC jack calling for a replacement.

Very often I fix laptops which have suffered from accidental liquid spillages. Most often I manage to salvage them with minimal cost as long as they are brought in soon after the spill was created. Initially, I will disassemble the notebook, completely dry it out and clean all the connectors and then perform a diagnosis as to find out whether the parts have suffered damage. The majority of the times I manage to put the notebook back into working order with minimal cost.

Laptop screens are rather delicate. When you drop the notebook or if an object collides with it, it is very probable your laptop screen will become damaged. Additionally it is common for screens to suffer from digital damage and reach their end of life. I replace displays from notebooks of all brands and. To get a cost-effective laptop screen repair, give me a call.

Laptop Hard Drive Upgrade

Whether you would like to improve the storage on your notebook, or you think your laptop is sluggish and want to install a faster storage device that I can do this fast and cost-effectively. I will consult you on your requirements and then suggest the right hard drive or SSD to your needs and install it.

Laptop overheats

When your laptop gets too noisy or you believe that it is overheating, that is often a sign that fans may be damaged/really dusty and the thermal compound on the CPU (mainly) is dried.

An overheating laptop may lead to damage to its internal parts and generally, it shuts itself down to avoid that. If you feel that your laptop shuts down randomly without warning or if you feel that it becomes very hot after a few minutes of use, then it probably suffers from overheating. The cause could be excessive dust raising the temperature inside or a faulty fan which does not cool the laptop and circulate the air as it should. Whatever the cause is I can repair your notebook in a couple of hours and have you up and running again.
