I’m also experienced in the installation and repair of hardware for your notebook. I can troubleshoot and fix your computer’s memory (RAM), hard drive (data recovery), external hard disk, solid-state hard drive SSD, chip (CPU), motherboard, video/graphics card, power supply unit (PSU), keyboard, sound card, CD drive, DVD, mouse, modem, router, and USB devices.

Most of us are hooked on our notebooks to operate, communicate effectively, research information and amuse ourselves. They’re a part of our lives. I mostly carry them with us, and I use them extensively making them prone to damage.

When this occurs, I am here to help out with getting you up and running fast. When you bring your laptop in, I will perform a free of charge diagnosis, after which I will inform you of the nature of the error, the choices you have and provide a fixed quote.

Should you approve my quote I will move in the repair straight away and it will usually be ready within hours (subject to part availability).

I can repair laptops of all makes and models such as gaming laptops. Whether you have a hardware or software fault my extensive experience will ensure I correctly diagnose the problem and that I do a fix that is cost-effective and long-lasting.

Several faults could prevent your laptop from turning on. It could be a faulty DC jack, a bad motherboard, bad RAM and others. Within 24 hours I will provide you with an accurate diagnosis so you can decide whether to proceed with the fix.

Laptop turns on but the display is blank

Many times, you may experience seeing that the notebook turns on by hearing the fans spin and the keyboard light up but you can see nothing on the screen. The cause could be a faulty screen, a faulty LCD cable, a battery or a motherboard issue. No matter the issue I usually turn around these repairs within two days.

A broken hinge is something I see far too often. You may have attempted to close the lid in haste, or you may have dropped your laptop.

A broken hinge wouldn’t allow you to open and close your notebook lid easily and you would also run the risk of additional damage to internal components by trying to operate it. I can repair your broken hinge cost-effectively and I’d make sure my repair would last.

Laptop DC Jack replacement

Laptop DC power jacks are frequently becoming damaged primarily because they are always being connected to a charger. Hence in case you insert the charger forcibly or at a wrong angle it might damage the pin inside the DC jack calling for a replacement.

Very often I fix laptops that have suffered from accidental liquid spillages. Most often I manage to salvage them with minimal cost so long as they are brought in shortly after the spill was made. Initially, I will disassemble the laptop, completely dry it out and wash all the connectors and then perform a diagnosis as to learn whether the components have suffered damage. Most of the times I manage to put the notebook back into working order with nominal price.

Laptop screens are quite delicate. When you drop the laptop or if an object collides with it, it is very likely your laptop screen will become damaged. It is also common for screens to suffer with digital damage and reach their end of life. I replace displays from laptops of all brands and. For a cheap laptop display repair, give me a call.

Laptop Hard Drive Upgrade

Whether you would like to increase the storage on your notebook, or you think your laptop is sluggish and wish to install a faster storage device I can do this fast and cost-effectively. I’ll consult you on your needs and then suggest the right hard disk or SSD for your needs and install it.

Laptop is overheating

When your laptop gets too noisy or you believe that it is overheating, that’s often a sign that fans may be damaged/really dusty and the thermal compound on the CPU (mainly) is dried.

An overheating laptop may cause damage to its internal components and usually, it shuts itself down to avoid that. If you think that your laptop shuts down randomly without warning or if you believe it becomes very hot after a few minutes of use, then it probably suffers from overheating. The cause could be excessive dust increasing the temperature indoors or a faulty fan which does not cool the laptop and circulate the air as it should. Whatever the cause is that I can repair your laptop in a couple of hours and have you up and running again.
