I’m also experienced in the installation and repair of hardware to your notebook. I can troubleshoot and repair your computer’s memory (RAM), hard disk (data recovery), external hard drive, solid-state hard disk SSD, chip (CPU), motherboard, video/graphics card, power supply unit (PSU), keyboard, sound card, CD drive, DVD, mouse, modem, router, and USB devices.

Most of us are hooked on our notebooks to work, communicate effectively, research information and entertain ourselves. They are a part of our lives. I mostly carry them with us, and I use them extensively making them prone to damage.

When this occurs, I am here to help out with getting you up and running fast. When you bring your laptop in, I will perform a free of charge diagnosis, and I will inform you of the nature of the fault, the options you have and provide a fixed quote.

If you approve my quote I will proceed in the repair straight away and it’ll usually be ready within hours (subject to part availability).

I can fix laptops of all makes and models including gaming laptops. Whether you have a hardware or software fault my extensive experience will guarantee I correctly diagnose the problem and that I perform a repair that’s cost-effective and long-lasting.

Several faults could prevent your notebook from turning on. It may be a faulty DC jack, a bad motherboard, bad RAM and others. Within one day I will supply you with an accurate diagnosis so you can choose whether to proceed with the fix.

Laptop turns on but the screen is blank

Many times, you might experience seeing the notebook turns on by hearing the fans spin and the keyboard lighting up but you can see nothing on the monitor. The reason may be a faulty display, a faulty LCD cable, a battery or a motherboard issue. No matter the issue I usually turn around these repairs within two days.

A broken hinge is something I see far too often. You might have tried to close the lid in haste, or you might have dropped your laptop.

A broken hinge wouldn’t let you open and close your laptop’s lid easily and you would also run the risk of further damage to internal components by attempting to operate it. I can mend your broken hinge cost-effectively and I would be certain that my repair would last.

Laptop DC Jack replacement

Laptop DC power jacks are frequently becoming damaged primarily since they’re continuously being connected to a charger. Hence if you insert the charger forcibly or at a wrong angle it might damage the pin inside the DC jack calling for a replacement.

Very often I fix laptops which have suffered from accidental liquid spillages. Most often I manage to salvage them with minimal cost so long as they’re brought in shortly after the spill was made. Initially, I will disassemble the notebook, completely dry it out and wash all of the connectors and then perform a diagnosis as to learn whether the components have suffered damage. The majority of the times I manage to put the laptop back into working order with minimal cost.

Laptop screens are rather delicate. When you drop the laptop or if an object collides with it, it’s very probable your laptop screen will become damaged. It is also common for screens to suffer with electronic damage and reach their end of life. I replace displays from notebooks of all brands and. To get a cost-effective laptop screen repair, give me a call.

Laptop Hard Drive Upgrade

Whether you wish to increase the storage on your notebook, or you think your laptop is sluggish and wish to install a faster storage device I can do this quickly and cost-effectively. I’ll consult you on your requirements and then suggest the right hard disk or SSD to your needs and install it.

Laptop is overheating

When your laptop gets too noisy or you feel that it’s overheating, that’s often a sign that fans could be damaged/really dusty and the thermal compound on the CPU (mainly) is dried.

An overheating laptop may lead to damage to its internal components and generally, it shuts itself down to avoid that. If you feel that your laptop shuts down randomly without warning or if you feel that it becomes very hot after a couple of minutes of usage, then it probably suffers from overheating. The reason could be excessive dust raising the temperature indoors or a faulty fan that does not cool the notebook and circulate the air as it should. Whatever the cause is I can repair your notebook in a few hours and have you up and running again.
