The majority of us are reliant on our laptops to operate, communicate effectively, study information and amuse ourselves. They’re a part of our lives. I mostly carry them , and I use them extensively making them susceptible to damage.
When this occurs, I am here to assist in getting you up and running quickly. When you bring your laptop in, I will perform a free of charge diagnosis, and I will inform you of the nature of the fault, the options you have and provide a fixed quote.
Should you approve my quote I shall move in the repair straight away and it’ll usually be ready within hours (subject to part availability).
I can repair laptops of all makes and models such as gaming laptops. Whether you have a hardware or software fault my extensive experience will guarantee I properly diagnose the problem and that I do a fix that’s cost-effective and long-lasting.
Several faults could prevent your notebook from turning on. It may be a faulty DC jack, a bad motherboard, bad RAM and others. Within one day I will supply you with an accurate diagnosis so that you can choose whether to proceed with the fix.
Laptop turns on but the screen is blank
Many times, you may experience seeing that the notebook turns on by hearing the fans spin and the keyboard lighting up but you can see nothing on the screen. The reason may be a faulty screen, a faulty LCD cable, a battery or a motherboard issue. Whatever the issue I usually turn around these repairs within two days.
A broken hinge is something I see far too often. You may have tried to close the lid in haste, or you might have dropped your notebook.
A broken hinge would not let you open and close your laptop’s lid easily and you would also run the risk of further damage to internal components by trying to operate it. I can repair your broken hinge cost-effectively and I’d be sure my fix would last.
Laptop DC Jack replacement
Laptop DC power jacks are often becoming damaged primarily since they’re continuously being connected to a charger. Hence if you insert the charger forcibly or at a wrong angle it may damage the pin inside the DC jack calling for a replacement.
Very often I repair laptops that have suffered from accidental liquid spillages. Most often I manage to salvage them with minimal cost as long as they’re brought in shortly after the spill was created. Initially, I will disassemble the notebook, completely dry it out and wash all the connectors and then perform a diagnosis as to find out whether the parts have suffered damage. Most of the times I manage to put the laptop back into working order with minimal price.
Laptop screens are quite delicate. When you drop the notebook or if an object collides with it, it is very probable that your laptop screen will get damaged. It is also normal for screens to suffer from digital damage and reach their end of life. I replace displays from notebooks of all brands and. For a cost-effective laptop display repair, give me a call.
Laptop Hard Drive Upgrade
Whether you would like to increase the storage on your notebook, or you think your laptop is sluggish and want to install a faster storage device I can do this quickly and cost-effectively. I will consult you on your requirements and then suggest the right hard drive or SSD to your needs and install it.
Laptop is overheating
When your laptop becomes too noisy or you believe that it’s overheating, that’s often a sign that fans may be damaged/really dusty and the thermal compound on the CPU (mainly) is dried.
An overheating laptop may lead to damage to its internal components and generally, it shuts itself down to prevent that. If you think that your laptop shuts down randomly without warning or if you feel that it gets very hot after a few minutes of usage, then it probably suffers from overheating. The reason could be excessive dust increasing the temperature indoors or a faulty fan that does not cool the laptop and circulate the air as it should. Whatever the cause is that I can repair your notebook in a few hours and have you up and running again.
