The majority of us are hooked on our laptops to operate, communicate effectively, study information and amuse ourselves. They’re a part of our lives. I mostly carry them with us, and I use them extensively making them prone to damage.

When this occurs, I am here to assist in getting you up and running quickly. When you bring your laptop in, I will carry out a free of charge identification, after which I will notify you of the nature of the fault, the choices you have and provide a fixed quote.

Should you approve my quote I shall move in the repair straight away and it will usually be ready within hours (subject to part availability).

I can repair laptops of all makes and models including gaming laptops. Whether you have a hardware or software fault my extensive experience will ensure I properly diagnose the issue and that I do a repair that’s cost-effective and long-lasting.

Several faults could prevent your notebook from turning on. It could be a faulty DC jack, a bad motherboard, bad RAM and others. Within one day I will provide you with an accurate diagnosis so that you can decide whether to proceed with the fix.

Laptop turns on but the display is blank

Many times, you might experience seeing the notebook turns on by hearing the fans spin and the computer keyboard light up but you can see nothing on the screen. The cause could be a faulty display, a faulty LCD cable, a battery or a motherboard issue. No matter the issue I usually turn around these repairs within two days.

A broken hinge is something I see far too frequently. You may have tried to close the lid in haste, or you might have dropped your laptop.

A broken hinge would not let you open and close your laptop’s lid easily and you would also run the risk of additional damage to internal components by attempting to operate it. I can repair your broken hinge cost-effectively and I would be sure that my fix would last.

Laptop DC Jack replacement

Laptop DC power jacks are often becoming damaged primarily because they are always being connected to a charger. Hence if you insert the charger forcibly or at a wrong angle it may damage the pin inside the DC jack calling for a replacement.

Very often I fix laptops which have suffered from accidental liquid spillages. Most often I manage to salvage them with minimal cost as long as they’re brought in shortly after the spill was created. Originally, I will disassemble the notebook, completely dry it out and wash all the connectors and then execute a diagnosis as to learn whether the parts have suffered damage. The majority of the times I manage to put the laptop back into working order with minimal cost.

Laptop screens are quite delicate. When you drop the laptop or if an object collides with it, it’s very probable that your laptop screen will get damaged. It is also normal for screens to suffer with digital damage and reach their end of life. I replace screens from notebooks of all brands and. To get a cheap laptop display repair, give me a call.

Laptop Hard Drive Upgrade

Whether you would like to improve the storage on your laptop, or you think your laptop is sluggish and want to install a faster storage device I can do this quickly and cost-effectively. I’ll consult you on your requirements and then suggest the right hard disk or SSD for your needs and install it.

Laptop overheats

When your laptop gets too noisy or you feel that it’s overheating, that is often a sign that fans may be damaged/really dusty and the thermal compound on the CPU (mainly) is dried.

An overheating laptop may cause damage to its internal parts and generally, it shuts itself down to prevent that. If you feel that your laptop shuts down randomly without warning or if you feel that it becomes very hot after a few minutes of usage, then it probably suffers from overheating. The reason could be excessive dust raising the temperature inside or a faulty fan which does not cool the notebook and circulate the air as it should. Whatever the cause is that I can repair your laptop in a few hours and have you up and running again.
