I can fix laptops of all makes and models including gaming laptops. Whether you have a hardware or software fault my extensive experience will guarantee I properly diagnose the issue and that I perform a repair that is cost-effective and long-lasting.

Several faults could prevent your notebook from turning on. It may be a faulty DC jack, a bad motherboard, bad RAM and others. Within one day I will supply you with an accurate diagnosis so you can choose whether to proceed with the repair.

Laptop turns on but the screen is blank

Many times, you might experience seeing that the laptop turns on by hearing the fans spin and the computer keyboard lighting up but you can see nothing on the monitor. The reason may be a faulty display, a faulty LCD cable, a battery or a motherboard issue. No matter the problem I usually turn around these repairs within 48 hours.

A broken hinge is something I see far too often. You may have attempted to close the lid in haste, or you might have dropped your notebook.

A broken hinge wouldn’t allow you to open and close your notebook lid easily and you would also run the risk of further damage to internal parts by trying to operate it. I can mend your broken hinge cost-effectively and I’d be certain that my fix would last.

Laptop DC Jack replacement

Laptop DC power jacks are frequently becoming damaged primarily since they’re always being connected to a charger. Hence if you insert the charger forcibly or at a wrong angle it may damage the pin within the DC jack calling for a replacement.

Very often I fix laptops which have suffered from accidental liquid spillages. Most often I manage to salvage them with minimal cost so long as they’re brought in shortly after the spill was made. Initially, I will disassemble the laptop, completely dry it out and clean all of the connectors and then perform a diagnosis as to find out whether the parts have suffered damage. Most of the times I manage to put the notebook back into working order with minimal price.

Laptop screens are quite delicate. When you drop the notebook or if an object collides with it, it’s very probable your laptop screen will get damaged. It is also normal for screens to suffer from digital damage and reach their end of life. I replace screens from laptops of all brands and. For a cost-effective laptop screen repair, give me a call.

Laptop Hard Drive Upgrade

Whether you would like to improve the storage on your laptop, or you think your laptop is sluggish and wish to install a faster storage device I can do this fast and cost-effectively. I will consult you on your needs and then suggest the right hard drive or SSD for your needs and install it.

Laptop is overheating

When your laptop gets too noisy or you believe that it’s overheating, that is often a sign that fans may be damaged/really dusty as well as the thermal compound on the CPU (mainly) is dried.

An overheating laptop may cause damage to its internal parts and generally, it shuts itself down to avoid that. If you think that your laptop shuts down randomly without warning or if you believe it becomes very hot after a few minutes of use, then it probably suffers from overheating. The cause could be excessive dust increasing the temperature indoors or a faulty fan which does not cool the laptop and circulate the air as it should. Whatever the cause is that I can repair your notebook in a few hours and have you up and running again.
