Most of us are reliant on our laptops to operate, communicate effectively, research information and amuse ourselves. They are a part of our lives. I mostly carry them with us, and I use them extensively making them susceptible to damage.
When this happens, I am here to help out with getting you up and running quickly. When you bring your laptop in, I will perform a free of charge identification, and I will notify you of the nature of the error, the options you have and provide a fixed quote.
Should you approve my quote I will move in the repair straight away and it will usually be ready within hours (subject to part availability).
I can fix laptops of all makes and models including gaming laptops. Whether you’ve got a hardware or software fault my extensive experience will ensure I correctly diagnose the issue and that I do a repair that’s cost-effective and long-lasting.
Several faults could prevent your laptop from turning on. It could be a faulty DC jack, a bad motherboard, bad RAM and others. Within 24 hours I will provide you with an accurate diagnosis so you can decide whether to proceed with the fix.
Laptop turns on but the screen is blank
Many times, you may experience seeing the notebook turns on by hearing the fans spin and the keyboard lighting up but you can see nothing on the monitor. The reason may be a faulty screen, a faulty LCD cable, a battery or a motherboard issue. No matter the problem I usually turn around these repairs within 48 hours.
A broken hinge is something I see far too frequently. You may have tried to close the lid in haste, or you might have dropped your notebook.
A broken hinge would not let you open and close your laptop’s lid easily and you would also run the risk of further damage to internal parts by trying to operate it. I can mend your broken hinge cost-effectively and I would make certain that my fix would last.
Laptop DC Jack replacement
Laptop DC power jacks are often becoming damaged primarily because they are continuously being connected to a charger. Hence if you insert the charger forcibly or at a wrong angle it may damage the pin within the DC jack calling for a replacement.
Very often I repair laptops that have suffered from accidental liquid spillages. Most often I manage to salvage them with minimal cost so long as they are brought in soon after the spill was made. Initially, I will disassemble the laptop, completely dry it out and clean all the connectors and then execute a diagnosis as to find out whether the parts have suffered damage. Most of the times I manage to put the laptop back into working order with nominal price.
Laptop screens are rather delicate. When you drop the laptop or if an object collides with it, it’s very likely that your laptop screen will get damaged. It is also common for screens to suffer from electronic damage and reach their end of life. I replace displays from laptops of all brands and. For a cheap laptop display repair, give me a call.
Laptop Hard Drive Upgrade
Whether you would like to improve the storage on your notebook, or you think your laptop is sluggish and want to install a faster storage device that I can do this quickly and cost-effectively. I will consult you on your needs and then suggest the right hard drive or SSD for your needs and install it.
When your laptop becomes too noisy or you believe that it’s overheating, that is often a sign that fans could be damaged/really dusty as well as the thermal compound on the CPU (mainly) is dried.
An overheating laptop may cause damage to its internal components and generally, it shuts itself down to prevent that. If you think that your laptop shuts down randomly without warning or if you feel that it becomes very hot after a few minutes of usage, then it probably suffers from overheating. The reason could be excessive dust raising the temperature inside or a faulty fan that does not cool the notebook and circulate the air as it should. Whatever the cause is that I can repair your notebook in a couple of hours and have you up and running again.
