Laptop turns on but the display is blank

Many times, you may experience seeing that the notebook turns on by hearing the fans spin and the keyboard lighting up but you can see nothing on the monitor. The reason could be a faulty screen, a faulty LCD cable, a battery or a motherboard issue. No matter the issue I usually turn around these repairs within two days.

A broken hinge is something I see far too frequently. You may have tried to close the lid in haste, or you might have dropped your notebook.

A broken hinge wouldn’t allow you to open and close your notebook lid easily and you would also run the risk of additional damage to internal parts by trying to operate it. I can mend your broken hinge cost-effectively and I would be sure that my fix would last.

Laptop DC Jack replacement

Laptop DC power jacks are often becoming damaged primarily since they’re always being connected to a charger. Hence in case you insert the charger forcibly or at a wrong angle it might damage the pin within the DC jack calling for a replacement.

Very often I repair laptops which have suffered from accidental liquid spillages. Most often I manage to salvage them with minimal cost so long as they are brought in soon after the spill was created. Originally, I will disassemble the notebook, completely dry it out and wash all the connectors and then execute a diagnosis as to learn whether the parts have suffered damage. Most of the times I manage to put the laptop back into working order with minimal cost.

Laptop screens are quite delicate. When you drop the laptop or if an object collides with it, it is very probable that your laptop screen will become damaged. Additionally it is normal for screens to suffer from electronic damage and reach their end of life. I replace screens from laptops of all brands and. Laptop Hard Drive Upgrade

Whether you would like to increase the storage on your notebook, or you think your laptop is sluggish and want to install a faster storage device I can do this fast and cost-effectively. I will consult you on your requirements and then suggest the perfect hard disk or SSD for your needs and install it.

Laptop is overheating

When your laptop gets too noisy or you feel that it is overheating, that’s often a sign that fans may be damaged/really dusty and the thermal compound on the CPU (mainly) is dried.

An overheating laptop may cause damage to its internal components and usually, it shuts itself down to avoid that. If you feel that your laptop shuts down randomly without warning or if you feel that it gets very hot after a few minutes of use, then it probably suffers from overheating. The reason could be excessive dust raising the temperature inside or a faulty fan that does not cool the notebook and circulate the air as it should. Whatever the cause is that I can repair your notebook in a couple of hours and have you up and running again.
