I can fix laptops of all makes and models including gaming laptops. Whether you’ve got a hardware or software fault my extensive experience will guarantee I properly diagnose the issue and that I perform a repair that’s cost-effective and long-lasting.
Several faults could prevent your laptop from turning on. It may be a faulty DC jack, a bad motherboard, bad RAM and others. Within 24 hours I will provide you with an accurate diagnosis so you can decide whether to proceed with the fix.
Laptop turns on but the display is blank
Many times, you might experience seeing the notebook turns on by hearing the fans spin and the computer keyboard lighting up but you can see nothing on the monitor. The cause may be a faulty screen, a faulty LCD cable, a battery or a motherboard issue. Whatever the problem I usually turn around these repairs within two days.
A broken hinge is something I see far too often. You might have attempted to close the lid in haste, or you might have dropped your notebook.
A broken hinge wouldn’t allow you to open and close your notebook lid easily and you would also run the risk of further damage to internal parts by trying to operate it. I can mend your broken hinge cost-effectively and I’d make certain that my fix would last.
Laptop DC Jack replacement
Laptop DC power jacks are often becoming damaged primarily since they’re continuously being connected to a charger. Hence if you insert the charger forcibly or at a wrong angle it may damage the pin inside the DC jack calling for a replacement.
Very often I fix laptops that have suffered from accidental liquid spillages. Most often I manage to salvage them with minimal cost as long as they’re brought in soon after the spill was created. Initially, I will disassemble the notebook, completely dry it out and clean all of the connectors and then perform a diagnosis as to learn whether the parts have suffered damage. The majority of the times I manage to put the notebook back into working order with minimal cost.
Laptop screens are rather delicate. When you drop the laptop or if an object collides with it, it is very probable that your laptop screen will get damaged. It is also normal for screens to suffer from digital damage and reach their end of life. I replace screens from notebooks of all brands and. To get a cost-effective laptop screen repair, give me a call.
Laptop Hard Drive Upgrade
Whether you would like to improve the storage on your notebook, or you think your laptop is sluggish and wish to install a faster storage device that I can do this quickly and cost-effectively. I’ll consult you on your needs and then suggest the right hard drive or SSD for your needs and install it.
Laptop is overheating
When your laptop becomes too noisy or you feel that it is overheating, that’s often a sign that fans may be damaged/really dusty and the thermal compound on the CPU (mainly) is dried.
An overheating laptop may cause damage to its internal parts and usually, it shuts itself down to prevent that. If you feel that your laptop shuts down randomly without warning or if you feel that it becomes very hot after a couple of minutes of usage, then it probably suffers from overheating. The reason could be excessive dust raising the temperature inside or a faulty fan which does not cool the notebook and circulate the air as it should. Whatever the cause is that I can repair your laptop in a few hours and have you up and running again.
