I am also experienced in the installation and repair of hardware to your notebook. The majority of us are hooked on our notebooks to work, communicate effectively, study information and entertain ourselves. They’re a part of our lives. I mostly carry them with us, and I use them extensively making them susceptible to damage.
When this happens, I am here to help out with getting you up and running fast. When you bring your laptop in, I will carry out a free of charge identification, after which I will notify you of the nature of the fault, the options you have and provide a fixed quote.
If you approve my quote I will proceed in the repair straight away and it’ll usually be ready within hours (subject to part availability).
I can fix laptops of all makes and models such as gaming laptops. Whether you’ve got a hardware or software fault my extensive experience will guarantee I properly diagnose the issue and that I do a repair that is cost-effective and long-lasting.
Several faults could prevent your laptop from turning on. It could be a faulty DC jack, a bad motherboard, bad RAM and others. Within one day I will supply you with an accurate diagnosis so that you can decide whether to proceed with the fix.
Laptop turns on but the display is blank
Many times, you may experience seeing that the notebook turns on by hearing the fans spin and the keyboard light up but you can see nothing on the screen. The cause may be a faulty screen, a faulty LCD cable, a battery or a motherboard issue. No matter the issue I usually turn around these repairs within two days.
A broken hinge is something I see far too frequently. You may have tried to close the lid in haste, or you might have dropped your notebook.
A broken hinge would not let you open and close your notebook lid easily and you would also run the risk of further damage to internal parts by attempting to operate it. I can mend your broken hinge cost-effectively and I would make sure my fix would last.
Laptop DC Jack replacement
Laptop DC power jacks are often becoming damaged primarily since they’re always being connected to a charger. Hence in case you insert the charger forcibly or at a wrong angle it might damage the pin inside the DC jack calling for a replacement.
Very often I fix laptops which have suffered from accidental liquid spillages. Most often I manage to salvage them with minimal cost as long as they’re brought in soon after the spill was made. Initially, I will disassemble the laptop, completely dry it out and clean all the connectors and then perform a diagnosis as to find out whether the components have suffered damage. The majority of the times I manage to put the notebook back into working order with nominal price.
Laptop screens are rather delicate. When you drop the laptop or if an object collides with it, it is very probable that your laptop screen will become damaged. Additionally it is common for screens to suffer with digital damage and reach their end of life. I replace displays from notebooks of all brands and. For a cost-effective laptop screen repair, give me a call.
Laptop Hard Drive Upgrade
Whether you wish to improve the storage on your laptop, or you think your laptop is sluggish and want to install a faster storage device that I can do this quickly and cost-effectively. I’ll consult you on your requirements and then suggest the right hard drive or SSD to your needs and install it.
Laptop is overheating
When your laptop becomes too noisy or you feel that it is overheating, that’s often a sign that fans may be damaged/really dusty and the thermal compound on the CPU (mainly) is dried.
An overheating laptop may lead to damage to its internal components and generally, it shuts itself down to prevent that. If you think that your laptop shuts down randomly without warning or if you feel that it becomes very hot after a couple of minutes of use, then it probably suffers from overheating. The cause could be excessive dust raising the temperature indoors or a faulty fan which does not cool the notebook and circulate the air as it should. Whatever the cause is that I can repair your notebook in a few hours and have you up and running again.
