I am also experienced in the installation and repair of hardware for your laptop. I can troubleshoot and repair your computer’s memory (RAM), hard disk (data recovery), external hard disk, solid-state hard drive SSD, processor (CPU), motherboard, video/graphics card, power supply unit (PSU), keyboard, sound card, CD drive, DVD, mouse, modem, router, and USB devices.

Most of us are reliant on our laptops to operate, communicate effectively, study information and amuse ourselves. They are a part of our lives. I mostly carry them with us, and I use them extensively making them susceptible to damage.

When this happens, I am here to assist in getting you up and running quickly. When you bring your laptop in, I will perform a free of charge identification, and I will notify you of the nature of the error, the options you have and provide a fixed quote.

Should you approve my quote I shall proceed in the repair straight away and it’ll usually be ready within hours (subject to part availability).

I can repair laptops of all makes and models such as gaming laptops. Whether you’ve got a hardware or software fault my extensive experience will ensure I properly diagnose the problem and that I do a fix that’s cost-effective and long-lasting.

Several faults could prevent your notebook from turning on. It may be a faulty DC jack, a bad motherboard, bad RAM and others. Within 24 hours I will provide you with an accurate diagnosis so that you can choose whether to proceed with the repair.

Laptop turns on but the display is blank

Many times, you may experience seeing the notebook turns on by hearing the fans spin and the keyboard light up but you can see nothing on the screen. The reason could be a faulty screen, a faulty LCD cable, a battery or a motherboard issue. Whatever the problem I usually turn around these repairs within two days.

A broken hinge is something I see far too frequently. You may have attempted to close the lid in haste, or you might have dropped your notebook.

A broken hinge wouldn’t let you open and close your laptop’s lid easily and you would also run the risk of further damage to internal parts by attempting to operate it. I can mend your broken hinge cost-effectively and I would be sure that my repair would last.

Laptop DC Jack replacement

Laptop DC power jacks are frequently becoming damaged primarily since they’re continuously being connected to a charger. Hence if you insert the charger forcibly or at a wrong angle it may damage the pin within the DC jack calling for a replacement.

Very often I fix laptops that have suffered from accidental liquid spillages. Most often I manage to salvage them with minimal cost as long as they are brought in soon after the spill was made. Originally, I will disassemble the notebook, completely dry it out and wash all the connectors and then perform a diagnosis as to learn whether the components have suffered damage. The majority of the times I manage to put the laptop back into working order with nominal cost.

Laptop screens are quite delicate. When you drop the notebook or if an object collides with it, it is very likely that your laptop screen will get damaged. It is also normal for screens to suffer with electronic damage and reach their end of life. I replace displays from laptops of all brands and. To get a cost-effective laptop display repair, give me a call.

Laptop Hard Drive Upgrade

Whether you would like to improve the storage on your notebook, or you think your laptop is sluggish and want to install a faster storage device I can do this fast and cost-effectively. I’ll consult you on your needs and then suggest the right hard drive or SSD to your needs and install it.

Laptop overheats

When your laptop becomes too noisy or you feel that it’s overheating, that’s often a sign that fans may be damaged/really dusty and the thermal compound on the CPU (mainly) is dried.

An overheating laptop may lead to damage to its internal components and usually, it shuts itself down to avoid that. If you think that your laptop shuts down randomly without warning or if you feel that it gets very hot after a couple of minutes of use, then it probably suffers from overheating. The reason could be excessive dust raising the temperature inside or a faulty fan that does not cool the notebook and circulate the air as it should. Whatever the cause is that I can repair your notebook in a couple of hours and have you up and running again.
