Laptop turns on but the screen is blank

Many times, you might experience seeing that the notebook turns on by hearing the fans spin and the keyboard light up but you can see nothing on the screen. The reason may be a faulty display, a faulty LCD cable, a battery or a motherboard issue. Whatever the issue I usually turn around these repairs within 48 hours.

A broken hinge is something I see far too often. You might have tried to close the lid in haste, or you might have dropped your laptop.

A broken hinge would not let you open and close your notebook lid easily and you would also run the risk of additional damage to internal components by attempting to operate it. I can repair your broken hinge cost-effectively and I would be sure my repair would last.

Laptop DC Jack replacement

Laptop DC power jacks are often becoming damaged primarily since they’re continuously being connected to a charger. Hence in case you insert the charger forcibly or at a wrong angle it might damage the pin within the DC jack calling for a replacement.

Very often I repair laptops that have suffered from accidental liquid spillages. Most often I manage to salvage them with minimal cost as long as they’re brought in soon after the spill was created. Originally, I will disassemble the notebook, completely dry it out and wash all of the connectors and then perform a diagnosis as to learn whether the components have suffered damage. The majority of the times I manage to put the laptop back into working order with minimal cost.

Laptop screens are rather delicate. When you drop the laptop or if an object collides with it, it is very likely your laptop screen will become damaged. Additionally it is normal for screens to suffer from digital damage and reach their end of life. I replace displays from laptops of all brands and. For a cheap laptop screen repair, give me a call.

Laptop Hard Drive Upgrade

Whether you wish to improve the storage on your notebook, or you think your laptop is sluggish and wish to install a faster storage device I can do this quickly and cost-effectively. I will consult you on your requirements and then suggest the perfect hard drive or SSD to your needs and install it.

Laptop is overheating

When your laptop gets too noisy or you believe that it’s overheating, that’s often a sign that fans may be damaged/really dusty and the thermal compound on the CPU (mainly) is dried.

An overheating laptop may lead to damage to its internal components and generally, it shuts itself down to avoid that. If you feel that your laptop shuts down randomly without warning or if you believe it gets very hot after a couple of minutes of use, then it probably suffers from overheating. The reason could be excessive dust raising the temperature inside or a faulty fan that does not cool the notebook and circulate the air as it should. Whatever the cause is that I can repair your laptop in a couple of hours and have you up and running again.
