Laptop turns on but the display is blank

Many times, you might experience seeing the laptop turns on by hearing the fans spin and the keyboard lighting up but you can see nothing on the monitor. The reason could be a faulty display, a faulty LCD cable, a battery or a motherboard issue. Whatever the problem I usually turn around these repairs within two days.

A broken hinge is something I see far too often. You might have attempted to close the lid in haste, or you might have dropped your laptop.

A broken hinge wouldn’t let you open and close your laptop’s lid easily and you would also run the risk of further damage to internal parts by trying to operate it. I can mend your broken hinge cost-effectively and I’d be certain my fix would last.

Laptop DC Jack replacement

Laptop DC power jacks are frequently becoming damaged primarily since they’re always being connected to a charger. Hence if you insert the charger forcibly or at a wrong angle it might damage the pin inside the DC jack calling for a replacement.

Very often I repair laptops which have suffered from accidental liquid spillages. Most often I manage to salvage them with minimal cost as long as they’re brought in soon after the spill was made. Initially, I will disassemble the laptop, completely dry it out and clean all the connectors and then execute a diagnosis as to find out whether the components have suffered damage. The majority of the times I manage to put the laptop back into working order with nominal cost.

Laptop screens are quite delicate. When you drop the laptop or if an object collides with it, it’s very probable your laptop screen will become damaged. Additionally it is normal for screens to suffer with digital damage and reach their end of life. I replace screens from notebooks of all brands and. Laptop Hard Drive Upgrade

Whether you would like to increase the storage on your laptop, or you think your laptop is sluggish and want to install a faster storage device I can do this quickly and cost-effectively. I will consult you on your needs and then suggest the perfect hard disk or SSD to your needs and install it.

Laptop overheats

When your laptop becomes too noisy or you believe that it is overheating, that is often a sign that fans could be damaged/really dusty and the thermal compound on the CPU (mainly) is dried.

An overheating laptop may cause damage to its internal components and generally, it shuts itself down to avoid that. If you feel that your laptop shuts down randomly without warning or if you believe it becomes very hot after a few minutes of usage, then it probably suffers from overheating. The cause could be excessive dust raising the temperature inside or a faulty fan that does not cool the notebook and circulate the air as it should. Whatever the cause is that I can repair your laptop in a couple of hours and have you up and running again.
