The majority of us are reliant on our laptops to operate, communicate effectively, research information and entertain ourselves. They’re a part of our lives. I mostly carry them , and I use them extensively making them susceptible to damage.
When this occurs, I am here to help out with getting you up and running quickly. When you bring your laptop in, I will perform a free of charge diagnosis, after which I will inform you of the nature of the fault, the options you have and provide a fixed quote.
If you approve my quote I will move in the repair straight away and it’ll usually be ready within hours (subject to part availability).
I can fix laptops of all makes and models including gaming laptops. Whether you have a hardware or software fault my extensive experience will guarantee I properly diagnose the issue and that I do a repair that is cost-effective and long-lasting.
Several faults could prevent your notebook from turning on. It may be a faulty DC jack, a bad motherboard, bad RAM and others. Within one day I will provide you with an accurate diagnosis so that you can decide whether to proceed with the fix.
Laptop turns on but the screen is blank
Many times, you might experience seeing the laptop turns on by hearing the fans spin and the keyboard light up but you can see nothing on the monitor. The reason may be a faulty screen, a faulty LCD cable, a battery or a motherboard issue. No matter the issue I usually turn around these repairs within two days.
A broken hinge is something I see far too frequently. You might have tried to close the lid in haste, or you may have dropped your laptop.
A broken hinge would not allow you to open and close your laptop’s lid easily and you would also run the risk of additional damage to internal components by trying to operate it. I can repair your broken hinge cost-effectively and I’d be certain my fix would last.
Laptop DC Jack replacement
Laptop DC power jacks are frequently becoming damaged primarily because they are always being connected to a charger. Hence in case you insert the charger forcibly or at a wrong angle it may damage the pin inside the DC jack calling for a replacement.
Very often I fix laptops which have suffered from accidental liquid spillages. Most often I manage to salvage them with minimal cost as long as they are brought in soon after the spill was made. Originally, I will disassemble the notebook, completely dry it out and clean all the connectors and then execute a diagnosis as to learn whether the parts have suffered damage. The majority of the times I manage to put the notebook back into working order with nominal cost.
Laptop screens are quite delicate. When you drop the notebook or if an object collides with it, it’s very likely that your laptop screen will get damaged. Additionally it is normal for screens to suffer from electronic damage and reach their end of life. I replace displays from laptops of all brands and. For a cost-effective laptop screen repair, give me a call.
Laptop Hard Drive Upgrade
Whether you wish to increase the storage on your laptop, or you think your laptop is sluggish and want to install a faster storage device I can do this quickly and cost-effectively. I will consult you on your needs and then suggest the right hard disk or SSD for your needs and install it.
Laptop is overheating
When your laptop gets too noisy or you feel that it’s overheating, that’s often a sign that fans may be damaged/really dusty and the thermal compound on the CPU (mainly) is dried.
An overheating laptop may lead to damage to its internal components and usually, it shuts itself down to avoid that. If you feel that your laptop shuts down randomly without warning or if you believe it becomes very hot after a couple of minutes of use, then it probably suffers from overheating. The reason could be excessive dust raising the temperature indoors or a faulty fan which does not cool the laptop and circulate the air as it should. Whatever the cause is I can repair your notebook in a few hours and have you up and running again.
