I am also experienced in the installation and repair of hardware for your notebook. The majority of us are reliant on our notebooks to operate, communicate effectively, research information and amuse ourselves. They are a part of our lives. I mostly carry them with us, and I use them extensively making them prone to damage.

When this occurs, I am here to assist in getting you up and running quickly. When you bring your laptop in, I will perform a free of charge diagnosis, and I will notify you of the nature of the fault, the options you have and provide a fixed quote.

If you approve my quote I will proceed in the repair straight away and it’ll usually be ready within hours (subject to part availability).

I can repair laptops of all makes and models such as gaming laptops. Whether you’ve got a hardware or software fault my extensive experience will ensure I properly diagnose the issue and that I do a repair that is cost-effective and long-lasting.

Several faults could prevent your notebook from turning on. It could be a faulty DC jack, a bad motherboard, bad RAM and others. Within 24 hours I will supply you with an accurate diagnosis so that you can choose whether to proceed with the repair.

Laptop turns on but the screen is blank

Many times, you may experience seeing the notebook turns on by hearing the fans spin and the computer keyboard light up but you can see nothing on the monitor. The cause could be a faulty screen, a faulty LCD cable, a battery or a motherboard issue. No matter the issue I usually turn around these repairs within two days.

A broken hinge is something I see far too frequently. You might have attempted to close the lid in haste, or you may have dropped your laptop.

A broken hinge wouldn’t let you open and close your notebook lid easily and you would also run the risk of additional damage to internal components by attempting to operate it. I can repair your broken hinge cost-effectively and I would make sure that my repair would last.

Laptop DC Jack replacement

Laptop DC power jacks are frequently becoming damaged primarily since they’re always being connected to a charger. Hence if you insert the charger forcibly or at a wrong angle it might damage the pin within the DC jack calling for a replacement.

Very often I fix laptops that have suffered from accidental liquid spillages. Most often I manage to salvage them with minimal cost so long as they’re brought in soon after the spill was created. Initially, I will disassemble the notebook, completely dry it out and wash all the connectors and then perform a diagnosis as to learn whether the parts have suffered damage. The majority of the times I manage to put the laptop back into working order with minimal price.

Laptop screens are rather delicate. When you drop the laptop or if an object collides with it, it’s very likely that your laptop screen will get damaged. Additionally it is common for screens to suffer from digital damage and reach their end of life. I replace screens from notebooks of all brands and. For a cheap laptop screen repair, give me a call.

Laptop Hard Drive Upgrade

Whether you would like to improve the storage on your notebook, or you think your laptop is sluggish and wish to install a faster storage device I can do this quickly and cost-effectively. I will consult you on your needs and then suggest the right hard drive or SSD for your needs and install it.

Laptop overheats

When your laptop becomes too noisy or you believe that it is overheating, that’s often a sign that fans may be damaged/really dusty as well as the thermal compound on the CPU (mainly) is dried.

An overheating laptop may lead to damage to its internal components and usually, it shuts itself down to avoid that. If you think that your laptop shuts down randomly without warning or if you believe it gets very hot after a couple of minutes of use, then it probably suffers from overheating. The reason could be excessive dust increasing the temperature inside or a faulty fan which does not cool the laptop and circulate the air as it should. Whatever the cause is that I can repair your laptop in a few hours and have you up and running again.
