Most of us are reliant on our notebooks to work, communicate effectively, study information and entertain ourselves. They are a part of our lives. I mostly carry them with us, and I use them extensively making them susceptible to damage.

When this happens, I am here to help out with getting you up and running fast. When you bring your laptop in, I will perform a free of charge diagnosis, and I will notify you of the nature of the error, the choices you have and provide a fixed quote.

If you approve my quote I will move in the repair straight away and it will usually be ready within hours (subject to part availability).

I can fix laptops of all makes and models such as gaming laptops. Whether you’ve got a hardware or software fault my extensive experience will ensure I properly diagnose the issue and that I perform a repair that is cost-effective and long-lasting.

Several faults could prevent your laptop from turning on. It could be a faulty DC jack, a bad motherboard, bad RAM and others. Within 24 hours I will supply you with an accurate diagnosis so you can decide whether to proceed with the repair.

Laptop turns on but the display is blank

Many times, you might experience seeing that the laptop turns on by hearing the fans spin and the keyboard lighting up but you can see nothing on the monitor. The reason could be a faulty screen, a faulty LCD cable, a battery or a motherboard issue. Whatever the problem I usually turn around these repairs within 48 hours.

A broken hinge is something I see far too often. You may have attempted to close the lid in haste, or you may have dropped your notebook.

A broken hinge would not allow you to open and close your laptop’s lid easily and you would also run the risk of additional damage to internal parts by attempting to operate it. I can repair your broken hinge cost-effectively and I would be sure that my fix would last.

Laptop DC Jack replacement

Laptop DC power jacks are often becoming damaged primarily since they’re always being connected to a charger. Hence if you insert the charger forcibly or at a wrong angle it might damage the pin inside the DC jack calling for a replacement.

Very often I repair laptops that have suffered from accidental liquid spillages. Most often I manage to salvage them with minimal cost so long as they are brought in shortly after the spill was created. Originally, I will disassemble the notebook, completely dry it out and wash all of the connectors and then execute a diagnosis as to find out whether the parts have suffered damage. The majority of the times I manage to put the notebook back into working order with minimal cost.

Laptop screens are rather delicate. When you drop the notebook or if an object collides with it, it’s very likely your laptop screen will get damaged. It is also common for screens to suffer from electronic damage and reach their end of life. I replace screens from laptops of all brands and. For a cheap laptop display repair, give me a call.

Laptop Hard Drive Upgrade

Whether you wish to increase the storage on your laptop, or you think your laptop is sluggish and wish to install a faster storage device I can do this quickly and cost-effectively. I will consult you on your requirements and then suggest the perfect hard disk or SSD for your needs and install it.

Laptop is overheating

When your laptop gets too noisy or you feel that it’s overheating, that is often a sign that fans may be damaged/really dusty as well as the thermal compound on the CPU (mainly) is dried.

An overheating laptop may cause damage to its internal parts and generally, it shuts itself down to prevent that. If you think that your laptop shuts down randomly without warning or if you believe it gets very hot after a couple of minutes of usage, then it probably suffers from overheating. The cause could be excessive dust raising the temperature indoors or a faulty fan that does not cool the laptop and circulate the air as it should. Whatever the cause is that I can repair your notebook in a few hours and have you up and running again.
